THEY HAVE NOTHING

The House Republican Clown Caucus is so nervous about President Biden’s first State of the Union address to their new majority that (Alleged) Speaker McCarthy asked Biden today not refer to Republicans as extreme MAGA in his address, because he thinks telling the truth about the collection of clucks in his caucus would be inappropriate.

What Biden intends to say to them is this:

“The story of America is a story of progress and resilience…We are the only country that has emerged from every crisis stronger than when we entered it. That is what we are doing again. Two years ago our economy was reeling. As I stand here tonight, we have created a record 12 million new jobs – more jobs created in two years than any president has ever created in four years. Two years ago, COVID had shut down our businesses, closed our schools, and robbed us of so much. Today, COVID no longer controls our lives. And two years ago, our democracy faced its greatest threat since the Civil War. Today, though bruised, our democracy remains unbowed and unbroken.”

“To my Republican friends, if we could work together in the last Congress, there is no reason we can’t work together in this new Congress. The people sent us a clear message. Fighting for the sake of fighting, power for the sake of power, conflict for the sake of conflict, gets us nowhere. And that’s always been my vision for the country: to restore the soul of the nation, to rebuild the backbone of America: the middle class, to unite the country. We’ve been sent here to finish the job!”

He intends to turn them into the worms they are.

The Clown Caucus spent today revealing just how incompetent and incapable they are.

It was announced in the Congressional Record today that Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan secretly added Matt Gaetz to their Select Committee to Destroy Justice, substituting him for the equally crazy Chip Roy, who has said that instead of being “woke,” the Department of Defense should be “doing their job, which is blowing things up and breaking things.” It is now clear if somehow it wasn’t before that the entire purpose of Jordan’s show is to smear Biden and help Trump. The couldn’t even bring themselves to make a formal announcement, instead inserting it in the Congressional Record.

Continuing the clown show, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) made it clear that he’s several sandwiches shot of a picnic and doesn’t care if his investigation uses misinformation and disinformation, replying to questions this morning on CNN about what his committee was going to do in its snipe hunt of Hunter Biden’s laptop, “So, who makes the decision as to who determines what’s disinformation and what’s not? One thing that you may think is disinformation, I may believe is fact. Who’s going to decide, you are – that what we want to know from the Twitter executives is, walk us through the policy? What was your policy to determine? What is disinformation? And who you seeking advice from? Who in the government was advising you? And what were they saying, just kind of walk us through that. We want to get a picture of exactly what the process was in censoring people.” He also took the time to praise Elon Musk for reopening Twitter to trolls and disinformation, saying “Thank goodness for Elon Musk.”

Comer is admitting that House Republicans are going to use Russian propaganda to investigate Hunter and Joe Biden. They will launder Russian propaganda through the legislative oversight process to create a scandal that they hope will end with Donald Trump being restored to the White House.

Pointing out the Republican’s complete lack of seriousness, at a press conference this afternoon, Chuck Schumer said that House Republicans have refused to show their plan and have instead offered gibberish like cutting the “woke” agenda, saying, “Show us your plan. He says he wants cuts. Where? He hasn’t named a single place where he wants them. Is it going to be Social Security or Medicare? Don’t just say no. Prove it. Show us your plan. Well, you say he said he’s not going to do that, but a number of his Republicans are still saying they want to do it. The very same Republicans who got their way when they were organized. We can’t be sure they won’t cut Social Security or Medicare until we see their plan. The only thing we hear is a lot of rhetoric. One member says they want to cut the woke agenda. What’s that? What cuts does that mean? Some even say the woke military agenda. I don’t even know what they’re talking about.”

Watching the antics of Marjorie Traitor Goon and professional statutory rape enthusiast Lauren Boeber will be fun tonight. Will they heckle the president like they did last year, or will they shout at each other?

It’s like the House Republicans know that they are going to lose the majority in 2024, so they are out to abuse their power as much as possible before voters toss them out.
