I want to see this entire f-n mess backfire with all the power of a thousand imploding suns.

Only 10 million suns? My hate meter blew up. And I’m one who swapped religious bs for the religion of kindness. Guess I have a way to go. No redeeming characteristics in any republican these days. Human characteristics long ago atrophied into piles of dried up Schitt. BTW, my UU church takes all comers, thankfully.

I laughed out loud.

Thank you, I needed that. Had to have my favorite cat, Katy put to sleep on Sunday. Broke my already tattered heart.

That is never easy. I'm sorry to hear that.

Thank you, she looked a lot like your Sebastian and Charlie, but short hair. I read that the orange cats are the redheads of the kitty world. I would say she was.

Yeah, that sounds about right. All my orage cats (Gus, Rusty, Ginger, Sebastian, Charlie, and Creampuff are definitely "redheads."

You have/had plenty of evidence. Katy was my first redhead. Had a champagne colored “throwback” to a Maine Coon. Most beautiful cat ever. But shy…

Thank you, it does indeed. My husband was her best human and when he died she let me be her buddy. I was honored because she was so scared and fearful when we got her.

Oh I'm so sorry to read that and sad for your loss. My cats are getting up there in age and I dread the next few years.

Wonderfully written. I think the following was my favorite passage:

"...Quiverin’ Qevin’s action today can be seen as the complete surrender of a worthless piece of shit whose backbone is a single strand of overcooked angel hair pasta."

It's the description of the backbone!

I loved that too!

I cannot for the life of me see how he gets elected time and again. Leonard Leo, Peter Thiel, and those who hand gifts to Clarence Thomas must be putting money in QQ's PAC coffers. Impeachment should begin for Thomas. Yes. Bannon ...the perfect specimen of a naval officer 🤑 He and Flynn among others should be tried for treason, IMHO. I keep telling myself not to yell at the news readers, but I ignore myself!

I'd love to see Ass. Justice Thomas impeached but in the current Senate, the Dems don't have the votes to convict and I'm doubtful that any Repub Senators would vote to convict.

I'm not sure how an impeachment of a Justice on the Supreme Court begins...does the House have to formulate the charges and conduct the impeachment trial before the Senate as they do with a Presidential impeachment?

This might help. It recounts what happened to a Supreme Court justice in 1804, the only one to be impeached. But he wasn't convicted by the Senate.

Thank you for that link, Ms. Matlock. It was an interesting and informative article. I guess trying to politicize the judicial branch (or muzzle the fiery partisanship thereon) is not confined to the 20 and 21st centuries.

Except that Kremlin Kevin, the Bakersfield Benedict Arnold without the physical courage and servicer of the physical and fiscal desires of Lev Parnas, IS an unreconstructed Confederate. He is a traitor, and Barack Obama or Joe Biden should have had him arrested for treason long ago.

I felt that hatred powered by "10 million suns" today when I watched the Quiverin-Puckerin- Asshole -Qevin announce the "scummy traitors' Free-Dumbass-Kawkuss plan to impeach Biden, lying through his brown-stained teeth the whole time as he "flooded the zone with shit." Yikes! As I wrote this comment, I realized that when progressive, well-read gentleman and scholars such as ourselves react to politicians with such venomous vitriol, only a revolution will assuage our rage. Man, I hope C Towers gets his wish!

I loved John Fetterman’s response this morning to Qevin’s impeachment inquiry. Laughing out loud at the absurd clowns they are. Nice way to delegitimize them Senator.

Like the ancient Greek theatre, we need a large Chorus of those who can point with one hand and laugh out loud behind the other when necessary.

I agree. Laughter is the best way to rebut these idiots. And John's hand gestures and sound effects were great!

I started writing a public screed on this effing pile

of shite that rolled out the

House door, attached to

McCarthy's shoes, like well

used toilet paper, on my

Facebook. I admit I had to go back and delete and rewrite.

I doubt it would have passed

even their lazy asked censors.

Now I can roll around in the

delightful, 100% on the mark

essay by TC and woderfully

scathing comments.

Bets are rolling at Talking Points Memo Hive on how

much longer Quivering will

hold the gavel, as George

Santos time in the House

looks limited. 😁

Rethuglicans have proven,

in their first 21 months of

holding the House, they are

the Supreme Do Nothing

I really think and feel, Trump

needs to undergo some

enhanced interrogation, of

any means, to find out what

he and Patootie Putin chatted

about at Helsinki. 😉

Strange that the stumbling, bumbling, stuttering Joe Biden is the leader who has the cajones to stand up to Putin, Xi, Kim, and Trump, who capitulates to the first three. But Trump controls the mosh pit of the electorate and those in congress whom the US oligarchs bought and paid for because they run with a "For Sale" sign on their backs. McCarthy has earned all the reflux and insomnia he may be experiencing. (But, who knows, he may actually be enjoying this revolting sado-masochistic relationship he has with the wingers.)

So the house must formally authorize a tedious in-depth investigation to determine if there is anything worth tediously investigating and, and, zzzzzzz...

Gosh, I hate it when you hold back, tell us how you really feel😛. Exception to the usage of Welch. Try that in Wales where I live by the Irish Sea and they'd strap a bag of chips around your neck and put you by the Waves to let the seagulls have at you. 😻

After a little research it,somewhat strangely, turns out that I live in a reality tunnel in Wales that is highly influenced by the cultural norms of the nearby cities of Birmingham and Manchester. There welch and welsh are apparently synonymous, completely Interchangeable. We are overrun by folks from these cities during the summer season and unbeknownst to me I have absorbed this linguist fallacy by just rubbing elbows with these yahoos. This is exactly why my shop on the high street is only open by appointment or serendipity. I must limit my exposure. But alas this slipped through somehow into my porous brain. What next? Will I start watching Love Island? Will I become oblivious to the fact that certain parts of my anatomy are not fit for public display even when the temperature rises above 80? Measures will be taken to shied myself better in the future. A stylish tin hat is in progress. Thanks for your heads up! 😻

Gosh maybe it is? We traveled from London to Seattle today. I will research it when my brain returns to a semblance of what can be considered kinda normal in the U S of A. 😜

YES! I found that legal opinion--it wasn't hard, top of my google results for "impeachment inquiry house." And I wondered why no one was saying anything about it. I wondered if the house rules had been modified but didn't have time to dig. Next up is how to enforce it? I doubt DOJ itself can go after a house rule--but the Dems in the house? Isn't this time for someone to yell "point of order?"

Wouldn't it be SWEET irony if the trump DOJ opinion squelched this stupid move?

On the other hand, he's putting Comer and Jordan in charge, and we all know how effective THEY are.

Sometime in the future, a Shakespeare will arise who will write about this convoluted show, along the lines of the scheming in Henry IV part I. Quevin will have his bit as a Donkey, food for the groundlings. Christie as Falstaff?
