On Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released the September jobs report, showing the country added 254,000 jobs in September, far in excess of the 140,000 jobs economists expected; the job numbers for July and August were revised upward. As a result, the unemployment rate dropped from 4.2% in August to 4.1% in September. Wages have risen 4% in the past quarter, out pacing the inflation rate of 2.9%.

Mark Zandi, the chief economist for Moody’s Analytics, wrote that this jobs report “cements my view that the economy is about as good as it gets. The economy is creating lots of jobs across many industries, consistent with robust labor force growth, and thus low and stable unemployment. The economy is at full-employment, no more and no less. Wage growth is strong, and given big productivity gains, it is consistent with low and stable inflation. One couldn’t paint a prettier picture of the job market and broader economy.”

Despite all that, when a reporter asked Trump, “Jobs are up, the stock market hit that all-time high. Do you acknowledge that the economy is improving?” his answer was: “No it’s not.”

Heeding Dear Leader’s voice, Senator Marco Rubio - who eight years ago was a politician with a great future to the point he ran for president and was one of Trump’s fiercest critics in 2016, posted on Xitter (that’s pronounced “shitter”) that the jobs report was fake.

Stephen Miller, the reincarnation of Reinhard Heydrich and self-hating Jew who has been disowned by his family for his pro-Nazi proclivities, demonstrated his knowledge of the Josef Goebbels Playbook when he posted on Sunday, September 29 - two days after Hurricane Helene devastated the Florida Panhandle, south Georgia, South Carolina, and destroyed western North Carolina - at his America First Legal propaganda organization: “Billions for Ukraine. Billions for illegal aliens. And what for the Americans? Reprogram every single dollar that FEMA has dedicated to support illegal aliens to go towards Americans who are facing unprecedented devastation!”

Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security of which FEMA is a part, refuted the Miller lie, telling reporters FEMA’s disaster relief fund is adequately funded for current needs.

In fact, FEMA is responsible for administering the Shelter and Services Program (SSP), which is part of Customs and Border Protection, which was established under the Trump administration in 2019 and funded by Copngressional appropriation, to provide grants to state and local governments in order to provide shelter, food, and transportation to undocumented immigrants.

This program is entirely separate from FEMA’s disaster-related adminisration, which are funded by congressional appropriations that are completely separate from SSP.

Speaking at his Saginaw Michigan hatealong yesterday, Trump echoed Miller, saying the Biden administration has failed in meeting the hurricane response because it spent the money appropriated for FEMA on “illegal immigrants.” “They spent it all on illegal migrants.… They stole the FEMA money just like they stole it from a bank, so they could give it to their illegal immigrants that they want to have vote for them,” he said. Today, he claimed that “a billion dollars was stolen from FEMA to use it for illegal migrants, many of whom are criminals, to come into our country.”

In fact, the FEMA response to Hurricane Helene has been praised by Republican Governors, with Georgia Governor Kemp stating that President Biden had asured him that the federal government would propvide anyting he asked for. Republican South Carolina governor Henry McMaster thanked President Biden by name for what McMaster called a “superb” response.

While Trump and the MAGAts claimed that the “Harris-Biden Regime” was denying aid to areas of Georgia and North Carolina where there were Repuiblican voters, in fact the administration has informed both Governor Cooper of North Carolina and Governor Kemp of Georgia that the federal government will cover all costs associated with cleanup and repair of the hurricane damage in those states.

As of Friday, October 4, FEMA has put up a Rumor Response page on its official website to deal with this MAGA disinformation.

Regardless of the facts, Unreconstructed Afrikaner White Supremacist Elmo Leon Muck - who the Wall Street Journal identified this past Wednesday as having been the financier of right wing disinformation groups since 2022 - posted: “Yes, they are literally using YOUR tax dollars to import voters and disenfranchise you! It is happening right in front of your eyes. And FEMA used up its budget ferrying illegals into the country instead of saving American lives. Treason.”

Also yesterday, Washington Post fact checker Glenn Kessler posted a story headlined, “No, Biden didn’t take FEMA relief money to use on migrants, but Trump did.” The article says that “Trump has a habit of assuming other politicians act in the same way as he would.” In the middle of the 2019 hurricane season, “Trump took $155 million from the FEMA disaster fund and redirected it to pay for detention space and temporary hearing locations for immigrants seeking asylum.”

This is in line with the false claims made by Trump in the September 10 debate with Vice President Kamala Harris that “illegal Hatian immigrants” in Springfield, Ohio, were eating the cats and dogs of (white) residents in the city. That lie was first spread by Trump’s Vice President JD Vance, who admitted in an interview on CN a week later that he had lied about events in Sprinfield and madup the story and would do so again “if that’s what it takes to get you people to pay attention to how the American people are suffering.”

Trump has continued to promote that lie, stating on Friday that if he is returned to office, he will end the protected status that legalizes the Haitian refugee community in Springfield and “deport them back to where they belong.”

At last weekend’s Friday hatealong, Trump gave delivered what even he admitted was a “dark” speech. Going beyond the canned bullshit about America ceasing to exist if he loses, he called undocumented immigrants “vile animals” and “monsters” who “will walk into your kitchen, they’ll cut your throat.” He then went on to claims that the media, including Fox News, shouldn’t “be allowed” to cover Kamala Harris’ speech on immigration. He then called Harris “mentally disabled.” (He lost the debate to a mentally disabled person? So sad.) He finished off musing that if police were allowed an hour of “real rough, nasty,” unrestrained violence once a year against shoplifters, the problem would go away.

Last Saturday, following his master’s lead, financier of the far right Leon Muck posted on his Shitter social media swamp, “Very few Americans realize that, if Trump is NOT elected, this will be the last election. Far from being a threat to democracy, he is the only way to save it!”

Yeah, keep buying his tinny toys, all you whip-smart upper middle class white lib’ruls, so you can help him save the planet.

Hitler’s propaganda chief Josef Goebbels said “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Fortunately, at present Trump is not president and MAGA is not operating with the power of he state. But lies on top of ever more fantastic lies is all Trump and MAGA have left.

All of this is right out of the fascist playbook for taking power. The campaign to “other” immigrants both legal and undocumented by raising the fears of Trump’s base of white morons is meant to “flood the zone with shit,” in the words of would-be fascist revolutionary Steve Bannon. The purpose of this firehose of lies is to leave voters unable to distinguish truth from lies so that they give up trying to distinguish the truth and conclude everyone lies and stop voting.

The only thing that is going to be resolved on November 5 is that Donald Trump will not be returning to the White House and will be spending the years he has left before he makes America truly great again with his permanent departure in courts where he will be found guilty of his crimes and sentenced to prison.

Regardless of that, the cold civil war that exists in the United States will not be resolved until MAGA and the Confederate White People’s Treason Party (aka the GOP) are defeated and the MAGAts return to life under their rocks in Flyover Loserville where they belong.

As Saul Alinsky noted in “Reveille for Radicals,” the real fight starts AFTER the election is won. MAGA is not going to fold their tents and steal away into the desert at night after they lose this election - or likely any election - until they have been defeated in every election between now and 2040.

That we have to consider these braindead fucks the serious threat they are is sooooooo damn embarrassing.
