I don't think we'll be done by 2040, but we can hope.

I saw a report that the CA market for new and used Tesla is deteriorating in response to Muck's public declarations. Perhaps it's time to nationalize the Starlink network and production facilities.

Yes indeed.

That's nice to know about the Tesla market. Here in Encino, you can throw a stick in any direction and hit five of them.

I heard that the older models have expensive battery issues. The trucks have had several recalls.

Yes, a used Tesla is often "problematic"

Same in San Diego.

There's a Tesla dealership right down the street from me. There aren't very many cars on the lot. What a dilemma! No MAGA in their right mind would be caught with one and the odious CEO is busy alienating his natural customers, those libtard rascals.

DFN has learned that Elon Musk is suing “Libtard Rascals” for refusing to buy his cars. “Just like the Libtard Advertising boycott on X, when people or Corporations refuse to spend money on my products, its illegal”

I've always wondered how "denazification" worked in Europe after WWII.

I guess the Nazis (and collaborators) were mostly driven underground, forced to lay low and not say much. At least not in public.

Expand full comment

Yeah, pretty much right. The Freedom Party in Austria was founded by former members of the SS back in the 50s - persistence paid off for them last weekend when they became the biggest vote-getter in the elections. Then there's AfD in Germany.

I'm almost more afraid of Musk's power with the Starlink network than I am of MAGA. He's not only unhinged, but with all that money, he's more powerful.

Expand full comment

Yes, the money is what makes his derangement dangerous.

For good reason. When he shut down Starlink in Ukraine it set our allies back by a couple of months.

Since Elmo Murk's ventures are partially subsidized by the US taxpayers and government via military contracts, taking some of them over could be easily facilitated. Starlink in particular is problematic. Murk turned it off early during Putin's invasion of Ukraine which hamstrung communications for the Ukrainian military. That's too much power for any one man to have; it was something Putin himself couldn't do. Let Elmo go off and continue propagating the earth with his richest creature seed and keep him out of politics, an area that's already Murky enough.

Sounds right to me.

That last line..”brain-dead fucks”. That’s who they are. I used to respect some of my former coworkers. No longer. MAGAts one and all.

Expand full comment

I feel the same way, Ally. It is impossible to respect people who are so drunk on the kool-aid. Maybe I could pity them, as I would any common drunk, but they are beyond disgusting and pathetic, they are dangerous.

Expand full comment

I felt that way about neighbors who I thought were good people, just misguided. Misguided is no longer an excuse.

Not brain dead but zombified. Evil is very, very sticky. Very few universal solvents are effective. You would think truth or self interest would work and they do to a degree if the evil has not go deep, to the heart and soul. Then only revelation from a higher source or overwhelming containment from the solid rock of benevolent good is effective. The times will continue to be ‘interesting’ until the majority of the collective soul of humanity chooses the good.

Trump is pure evil - the obese reincarnation of Hitler. It is profoundly disturbing to have these dangerous lies spread. It's a repeat of Nazi Germany with the "other" demonized and Trump calling for a day/night of violence. My God, they're all so corrupt and have lost their souls. Repugnant. Repulsive. Revolting. Racist. That's really what the R stands for.

"As Saul Alinsky noted in “Reveille for Radicals,” the real fight starts AFTER the election is won." No doubt. But first we have to win the election.

Exactly right!

I keep saying it to anyone who will listen: we must defeat MAGA in such overwhelming numbers this November, and in 2026 and 2028, that the GOP (or whatever is left of it) will not be able to obtain a majority in either house for a couple of generations, allowing this experiment of ours to heal and regenerate.

I really hope this is wrong, but read something about the possibility of Kamala not being a fan of Lina Khans - and of course corporations would be thrilled if she removed her!

Frankly, saw a couple interviews of Khan and in MY opinion, she needs to be encouraged to do more damage to these large corporations and the mergers they are attempting. Maybe putting a stop to the higher prices we all are paying!!

As for cleaning up the

MAGATS, we could start by

getting a really tough ATG in

DOJ when Kamala Harris

wins and prosecuting all the

slimes in the house and

senate who had anything to

do with J6 and certification

of the EC votes. Slap them

down and many out really

hard. Mikey Johnson was

pushing the lawsuits with

Stephen Miller. Bet those

were financed by Leonard Leo and friends. Cruz,

Hawley, Comer, Johnson,

Green! The list is long!

Thank you for always speaking your mind, Tom.

BTW, it was south Georgia that was devastated. Much of north Georgia was spared when Helene swerved eastward at the last minute.

Thanks for the info. I'll change that.

Thank you Tom.

1 person who has to be taken

off the board and severely

curtailed is Elon Muck. He is a

very dangerous man with his

multi billions, his techbros

and more importantly, his

Goebels like influence and

playing footsie with Stephen

Miller since 2022. Tesla

is secondary. Hit him where

it would really bite him with

SpaceX. Have you noticed

the increased timeline on

his different space launches?

I read where the government

applied some kind of

pressure and had Starlink

Sat moved over NC to help

with internet. Am sure NASA

has some muscle it could

bring to bear. There are other

players in space.

Trying to refute the avalanche of lies spewing from the unreality magauniverse is like trying to hold back the ocean spilling into and over a leaky dike! Only a few news people have begun to name the "disinformation" for what it is: LIES. I still find myself laughing at JD and his complaint that the moderator "broke the rule about NOT fact checking"! What a CROCK! The point or the lying is to make you believe that nothing can be believed - nothing is trustworthy, nothing is true, therefore anything might be true or not. The russians have lived so long under such a regime is it any wonder they just stick their heads in the sand (not all of them of course) and let the criminals go on with their crimes? So calculated and cynical. And you're correct TC- the real work and the really hard work begins after this election. My hubby and I have voted our absentee ballots and will hand carry them to the clerk on Monday. I hope millions do the same. I also hope that all the news coming out from the release of the filing by Jack Smith will make a dent in the brains of some folks still saying they don't have quite enough information about Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. At this point that kind of excuse is nothing but the sign of a stupid dumbf*** pretending to be thoughtful about this election. I hate rollercoasters but it looks like we're all on one. Hold on to your stomach and especially your nerve. It isn't going to get any prettier.

It might feel good to vent, but those who live in “Flyover Loserville” are not necessarily MAGAts, and there is no point in disparaging entire states because of the deplorable tendencies of majorities there. Sensible people do live there alongside the deluded nutcases. However, we do not need to make excuses for anybody who does not mind being lied to, as long as the lies come from their hero.

Great post, Tom. My only small point of disagreement is: "Trump will not be returning to the White House and will be spending the years he has left before he makes America truly great again with his permanent departure in courts where he will be found guilty of his crimes and sentenced to prison." I sincerely doubt trumpscum will spend a day in prison. He is so obviously deep into the slow slide of dementia, he will pass the rest of his worthless life in a secure hospital. We don't try the mentally deranged in this Country. So, while Jack Smith will get his day in Court, and trump may even be justifiably found guilty, he will die in a hospital for the criminally insane.

Perhaps.

Expand full comment

True, it is definitely, perhaps. I really don't care where he dies (although I hope it is soon) I only care that he is found guilty, then that all his spiteful enablers are also found guilty. They bloody well knew he was lying.

some time in the past few years I read a book about how lies work. I've actually read a bunch, and I can't remember which one this story came from, so I am operating from memory and the details may be a bit off. But not the main gist.

The Big Lie was in use long before Goebbels--this was Alaska during the gold rush. Small camp, guy came into "town", put up a shack, and said it was a telegraph office. People eager to connect with home--there was no other way--paid his exorbitant fee. They didn't get responses because it wasn't a telegraph office. There was NO WIRE leading from the hut to anywhere. But people were so eager to believe that they just kept sending message after message "home." They could not believe that a claim so specific had to be wrong, despite the evidence.
