NEW YORK DEMOCRATIC PARTY SCREWS THE POOCH

When Democrats in the New York State Legislature heard that Governor DeSantis had taken control of his state’s redistricting process to redraw the map so that five Democratic congress members would go down to defeat this fall (as they did), they decided two could play that game, and created an aggressive gerrymander to give them five formerly-Republican House seats and become the “saviors of the House majority.”

Except the dumbasses managed to open their mouths about what they were doing in front of witnesses. Witnesses who were happy to testify to the conservative judges - all appointed by that bastard Cuomo - who tossed out the legislature’s map and hired a political map-maker to draw something more “neutral.” A map that really Fucked Things Up Beyond All Recognition. That they are now stuck with till 2030.

And now the end result is that New York Democrats today handed control of the House of Representatives to the Republicans.

Four of their candidates, including the fuckwit who was in charge of the whole fakakte, Sean Patrick Maloney (so much for all good Irishmen being natural politicians), have now conceded their races to their Republican opponents.

The one bit of good news is the four “victorious” candidates had best not order any office furnishings they have to pay for. Rent, folks. And not to buy. Take out a two year lease, because that’s as long as you sacrificial lambs are going to be there.

That’s because these people are going to be yoked to the House Republican Majority, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the House Fwee-Dumb Kawkus, which will be making a two year run of publicly demonstrating they haven’t got the brains to find their ass with both hands as they forget any legislative agenda in exchange for being able to jump and shout from behind their lecterns as they throw their feces at the unfortunates in range, playing “we can too investigate you!”

And so in 2024, these saps will be standing on the scaffold as they take turns being hooded, the rope slipped round their neck, and the trap door underfoot tripped.

But in the meantime, we hve to waste two years watching Performative Ignorance. Because of the idiocy of a collection of New York clucks. Even if we blow the shit out of the Republicans sitting in Congress from districts out here that Biden won in 2020 that we shouldn’t have lost then.

That part of me that resides in Los Angeles California is privately happy to watch my least-favorite state after Texas get its comeuppance for its ignorant arrogance in such a public manner.

But that part of me that would like to see us actually accomplish things is really seriously pissed off at these morons.

(The New York morons referred to above do not include those New York resident readers of TAFM - who I am pretty sure share my rage, being the smarties they actually are.)

Dimocrats. Once again, stealing defeat from the jaws of victory. (And don’t get me going yet on the L.A. Dims)
