Yes! Absolutely! They keep saying she’s had 3.5 years to do this and that… And of course, 45 had his full four year term to do whatever and then they lie as though his record is replete with accomplishments… Your comment nails a key point!

So when are we going to talk about the failures of the Pence Administration? 🤣

And 45's four years was as President, not VP. VPs are somewhat like first ladies (or gentlemen): They are allowed to pick a project or two and confine themselves to that. Biden was a bit unusual in that he made the effort to include Kamala in oval office daily briefings and allowed her to take a more active role, but she was still VP.

The sad thing is that in response to "what's 45's excuse?" the answers which lead us to believe he wasn't set up enough or too new to politics to get enough done also lead us to believe he'll be able to take us far further down the road to destruction than he did the first time.

I was waiting for Tim to say, Look, JD, both of us know the job of VP isn’t worth a pitcher of warm spit, as another VP once said. Policy is not set by vice presidents. My history students know that. Why don’t you?

I was also waiting for Walz to call Vance by his first name after JD started calling him by first name. Walz maybe forgot he was basically debating an adolescent, though a very clever one.
