Just got an email from Mary L. Trump's newsletter. She said: "A human being so bad a worse one could not have been constructed in a lab is running things now..."

I guess she would know better than any of us. :-)

Oh, let’s ask what crops are grown in the Central Valley: “The Central Valley grows an incredible diversity of crops – about 250 – which comprises a third of the nation’s fruits and vegetables. You’ll find citrus, sweet potatoes, table grapes, kiwis, figs, olives, wine grapes, prunes, nuts, cereal grains, hay, cotton, tomatoes and vegetables.” You get a similar answer if you wonder what crops are grown in the Kaweah River area. When prices for produce from California begin to reach stratospheric levels this year, you know who to thank.

So, Norbert J. Dimbulb just started flushing water needed for this summer down the drain. Brilliant!

How are the Tulare farmers supposed to keep the water for summer use? Could they dig ponds fast enough? Where would it go if it were just flowing without being pumped to the California aqueduct?

This reminds me of shining “very powerful light” inside the body to cure COVID. It’s hard to tell if he is only pretending to be stupid so he won’t turn off his ignorant voters, or is he really that ignorant?

They keep the water in the dam that Donald Trump just drained. That's the whole point: it would never get to So Cal, it is intended for the farmers who need it during the hot months. Trump just drained their summer water supply.

It is complicated, Donald. Not an "on again/off again" proposition. Let the scientists and experts determine when, how and how much water should be released.

Alan, to President Dimbulb, them’s fightin’ words. He doesn’t believe in science. No matter that science is based on fact, not belief. 🙄

Trump is neither stupid nor ignorant. He is simply malevolent. He’s attacking California’s water supply by ordering the military, specifically the US Army Corp of Engineers, to release the water in order to deplete CA’s water supply. It’s retribution. Make no mistake about it - this is a civil war.

So far…but be aware - Trump and Republicans will stop at nothing to quell dissent and maintain power. There’s a reason he pardoned Tarrio and Rhodes along w/their militia. I believe he will employ these militias to incite violence at peaceful rallies just so he can claim the right to use the military to quash dissent under the Insurrection Act. It’s the Reichstag fire strategy. Am I being too paranoid? Perhaps…but we’ll see.

Those farmers all voted for Trump. He's not hurting Californians, he is hurting his base, and those farmers are probably big donors. Those are NOT family farms. This and the Mexico tariffs will really lower produce prices!! (not)

Exactly. Those farmers and the indigenous tribal people and also the fish all just got a fucked. That's what he means "every drop belongs to someone" there were just some new treaties worked out up there on behalf of residents of tribal lands, farmers, and wildlife.

Isn’t this a critical situation? That water is evaporating at an accelerated rate. If less water is available for Central Valley crops this summer, not only does it reduce the amount of food grown for the nation, it reduces the revenues available to California. And that water does not bring to the federal government. Shouldn’t Newsom be filing an injunction action requiring the Corp to turn off the spigot?

There is nothing “beautiful” about Trump’s order to the US Army Corp of Engineers to release water reserves.

Trump’s order to “release” water from two dams in the Central Valley is an intentional effort to deplete California’s water reserves. His goal: bring California (a Blue state) to the edge of collapse.

Trump is using the military against the people of California.  There is plenty of evidence that the release is not for the “intended” purpose. The State needs to file litigation to stop the unnecessary release of water.

Btw, I sent the foregoing to my congressional representative, Salud Carbajal, and State Assembly person, Gregg Hart.

Gregg responded that he would “follow up with the State Attorney General.” He added “I’ll bet the big ag guys that gave Trump millions to support his candidacy are now asking themselves “what have we done”? How will they save their production with him taking the water they need in summer and deporting the farm workers they depend on to harvest their crops.”

Meanwhile Salud indicated that Sen. Padilla “is leading the charge on this for CA.”

And dimwitted donnie just

slapped 25% tariffs on

Canada and Mexico where

we import about 45% of our

drought now a prospect for

the CA breadbasket due to

inflation should sky rocket!

I will also add, when you sign

up for the military, you

undergo a thorough written
