All he does now is work the refs; he’s not running for office any more, he’s laying the foundation for a coup.

Con-Old has a nerve accusing the media of being liberal when they have been acting as his lap dog for the past decade. They have normalized his horrible, un-American behavior. Two attempts on his life - by Republicans. What does that say?

No, he/his campaign are not even trying or pretending anymore.

“During his 2024 campaign, according to a source with direct knowledge, Trump has raised this topic again, venting about the need to punish late-night comedians for giving 'illegal' campaign contributions to the Democratic Party — in the form of jokes and on-air satire," reads the report.”

Stock up on enough tampons to last you till menopause, girls. The VanceState is gonna subpoena your supermarket or Amazon to see if you stop buying them without thereafter bringing a baby to full term. And it will be a VanceState. The 25th Amendment will put paid to trump long before he gets to the end of HIS term.

It's coming - the election of my lifetime..... It appears that Judge Tanya Chutkan will drop the hammer on the Orange Rind the first week of October, when she decides on releasing the redacted version of the 180-page brief filed by Jack Smith last week. Or perhaps by mid-October, when she decides on releasing the redacted version of the DOJ appendix - thousands of pages of exhibits, evidence , testimony and the like. So close to the election, oh my..... The Orange Rind's legal delays and maneuvers have resulted in the worst possible electoral outcome from the DC election interference case for him. The mills of God grind slow, but they grind exceeding fine.....

In other news, the Bride and I went out to check the mail and happened upon an election campaign worker distributing fliers, which we took. After looking at the lists of candidates, it dawned on me why straight ticket voting will be so easy this time around. I compared the campaign statements of the Democratic and Republican candidates, and it suddenly was crystal clear - just to become an official Republican candidate, a politician has to be far-right and extreme. All the moderate cooperative Republicans are now RINOs and not supported for running for office. Straight ticket is not only not a throwaway vote, it is the only responsible way to vote for democracy in 2024. Vote early and BLUE!

I called our county election office last week and found out that they had just sent the ballots to be printed and we would be receiving them shortly. I can't wait!

I am wondering how the convicted felon plans to pay for all these lawsuits, given that he's now hawking cheap watches for $100,000 in addition to his gold shoes and other products produced in Cheeeena? As someone noted, perhaps he should audition for HSN. He could add Melanoma's "book" to his grifter's collection.

What puzzles me is how almost 50% of this country thinks he is a good candidate to be President. we've got to help the undecideds choose BLUE! There will be dire outcomes otherwise.

It's not 50%, Nancy - it's 25%. It's estimated about 70 million MAGAs in the Country (per Robert Reich). We have around 345 million residents; subtract 70 million, leaves 275 million. 70 divided by 275 is 25%

"conservatives have long complained that Google’s search results unfairly favor Democrats."

Maybe that's because it's mostly Democrats who go to Google (or other search engines) in pursuit of facts, while the current R's are content to wallow in their fact-free bubbles.

Outstanding testimony, it would be even more impressive if I thought anything would come of it, even action by the Senate to 'clarify' the Court's ruling.

It has been suggested that if Harris wins and the Senate goes Rethuglican, that she get all, or most of her cabinet picks confirmed during the 70 days between Election Day and January 21. Or, if she can't do that, then appoint 'acting' cabinet officials.
