1500 felons who attacked the capitol and the police who defended it and set up a gallows for Mike pence were pardoned and set free by kingdonthecon to be his militia. And won’t he be invoking his rights when he’s finally caught!

I am supposed to fly to Spain and Portugal in May for my vacation. I'm beginning to wonder if I should make contingency plans in case I get picked up in Miami on my return. It's hard to fathom questioning if I will be allowed back in as a citizen and a passport holder, but they're already jailing green card holders, and that's really only one step down from full citizenship. I was a vocal opponent of this administration the first time, and am a vocal opponent now. Such are the times we live in these days.

Still shocked that people actually chose this over a much better and much more qualified candidate.

Portugal's pretty nice, according to Barry Friedman. Perhaps you should consider entrepreneurial activities as a veterinarian there.

Hey Tom, Could you ask Barry if they need nurses in Portugal? Just in case we need to escape. I plan on staying and fighting the demented orange felon and his Nazi regime, but nice to have a get out of jail plan.

Karen, I'll join you in Portugal. I'm sure we can find nursing jobs there. I have a lot of connections to healthcare folks in Europe if needed. But like you, my plan is to stay and fight.

Well, Widdle Marco is right about one thing: "This crucial step would have never happened under any other U.S. president." Because no other US president, not even Dick Nixon, would have done this. We are in perilous times.

We know this is going to happen. The Administration is already lying to judges and breaking the law. Republicans are supporting all of it. Bottom line, what happens when this occurs? I know "end of the Republic!" BUT, what happens? What do the judges do? What do all the keyboard warriors who warn about this shit do? Look, I respect everyone from Robert Reich to whomever who warns about it. BUT, what the fuck will everyone who has a higher pay grade than me do when Trump says I'll do what I want Courts be damned?

According to George Conway and Mark Elias the only card the courts can play is to send the U.S. Marshalls but they work for Pam Bondi. Mitch McConnell screwed us royally. All the Constitutional lawyers I’ve heard say impeachment was the Founders’ remedy. That was in an era of relatively honorable men. God only knows how this will end but it won’t be good for the likes of us.

this is what I keep saying to people, and it's NOT comforting. I'm pretty much stuck here, unless I wake up twenty years younger in the morning.

make that thirty. I'm wishing big.

I actually investigated moving to England with Rochelle back in the early '90s. we had lots of help from a good friend's good friend, who was a very powerful (and very Left) Labor MP. it seemed like it would have been very disruptive for both of us. but if I'd had some kind of Cassandra thing going on then, I'd have a lot more weird vowels going on now.

Fight back!

************

And, Fred Korematsu & Family did fight back & his dedicated Team of Pro-Bono attorneys got Fred's WWII conviction overturned on the morning of 11/10/1983 by a using Writ Of Error (coram norbis) GRANTED by the Presiding Judge Marilyn Hall Patel in the case Fred Korematsu vs. U.S.A, No. 27635-W MHP. Coram nones just means "before us" meaning in the same Federal San Francisco court.

Fred's team proved U.S. Government intelligence agencies intentionally destroyed and/or suppressed that Japanese American citizens were loyal.

The back story is that young Fred was sent to the "Tanforan Assembly (NOT) Center in San Bruno, CA. In the real world that means Fred was sent to the Bay Meadows race track just like L.A. Japanese American citizens were sent to Santa Anita racetrack, Arcadia CA before being sent to Tulare County & incarceration on the east side of the Sierras Mountains & other Western locations.

I want to know who the prisoners really are. When their heads and beards are shaved it removes information about their identity. They could be anyone. But I don’t automatically believe they are who Maladministration II says they are. In fact, because they say it, I don’t believe it.

Check out Jay Kuo.He says there are other avenues besides US Marshalls.

“But the law doesn’t strictly limit courts to using the marshals for enforcement, and the rules at least strongly suggest that courts can turn to other parties to help enforce orders.

When serving papers upon parties, for example, the rules expressly allow them to be “served by a United States marshal or deputy marshal or by a person specially appointed for that purpose.”

How about we load up some planes with republicans instead of migrants and ship them for a nice stretch in guantanamo or worse a central american prison. I don’t believe a word coming out of this government as THEY are the criminals we fear.
