Just so all of you know, there will be a minimum of posts between now and Tuesday night, That’s because at 10:30 tomorrow (Sunday) morning, Jurate’s older sister is showing up for what will likely be the last time they are together.
Tom, I will be thinking of you, Jurate and her sister, with the hope that there is comfort in the reunion. Many will be keeping you three in their hearts.
Subscribed this morning to send encouragement. My younger sister and I were estranged for nineteen years and reconciled three years ago. We forgave each other and have never talked about the reasons for our rift, and that has made all the difference to our peace of mind. Praying peace and reconciliation, and strength going forward, for all three of you. Namaste
May you dwell in your heart. May you be free from suffering. May you be healed. May you be at peace. May you dwell in your heart. May your heart flower. May you be be free from all suffering. May you be healed into this moment. May you know the joy of your own true nature. May you know the deepest levels of peace. May you dwell in your heart. May you be free from suffering. May you be healed. May you be at peace. (Levine and Kubler-Ross).
Take good care, TC. You have been entrusted with a share of the pain of the universe. I wish for you as many moments as possible to breathe it in and embrace it.
Namaste 🙏 Tom, you and your love set an example on how to move through the difficult transitions that life throws at us with dignity, courage, honor and love. My hat is off to you for the nobility that you inspire, I pray that the coming days bring a lasting peace to all of you on your journey.
Take care of your family and yourself. May your sister-in-law see and understand the reality of Jurate’s situation and repair their relationship. Holding you in my heart.
TC, I am not any one who should guide anyone on family dynamics. So no wise words to offer. Just wishing you well in this situation. Good luck with the "treaty".
Sending a wish for more than luck. Sending a wish for reconciliation, patience and time to let the barriers come down and love bloom. Blessings on all three of you.
I will be thinking of you personally - I lost my first wife to pneumonia and sepsis when she was 45, back in early 1988. She died fairly suddenly after recovering from pneumonia, so I had the quick trip. You are taking the longer route, and I sympathize. There is no "easy" way to say goodbye, no path other than the difficult one we have taken, who have lost loved ones too soon. I hope that her remaining time leads to peace and rest.
To all of these heartfelt, heart-full comments, I add my own of caring and hope for peace as you navigate this difficult time. You have touched many hearts with your sharing of fabulous felines and wrenching disease. This commenting community represents a base of support for you going forward.

Peace and strength of mind to you and those who are close.
May you see each other with new light.

In the Quaker manner, we are holding you all in the Light.
Dear Tom, with all my spirit and support for you, Jurate and her older sister.
Peace,
Fern

Wishes go way beyond luck TC. God be with all three of you and grant you peace, together and in the future you will each face on your own path.
