Sadly, your clear delineation of the "qualities" of these judges shows the corrosive effect of Democrat lack of decades long planning and action in working on judiciary appointments. Sad, sad, sad---and lethal for more than a few women. WHEN with democrats realize they are dealing with vicious political actors and NOT rational politicians. The GOP has a scorched earth policy and the Dems are, as usual, scattered all over the landscape on most issues. Paul Krugman is right about the Debt crisis---a total Democrat failure so far. Too many nice, totally inarticulate (in the sense of making politically effective statements) Democrats. WHEN will the go scorched earth to point out the GOP is responsible for the recent surge in the Debt????? If past actions indicate---they never will. I'm totally frightened. BUT the results in Florida and elsewhere in elections do provide some hope........ And GOTV is also crucial........ (I'm blowing off some of my steam in this---frustration......thanks for reading if you have......)

I read it. I agree.

A point of grammar: The RepubliQans have made using the word “Democrat” rather than the word Democratic” into an epithet. By dictionary definition, the word “Democrat” is a noun and “Democratic” is an adjective. “Republican” is both a noun and an adjective.

It is the Democratic Party. I am a Democrat. It is not the Democrat Party.

in that ridiculous "1776" so-called "curriculum," the scumbags exploit this feature as much as they can by referring to the government as "Republican" many, many times. it's ALMOST funny, it's so fucking transparent. of course, it's not funny because there are plenty of people who are going to be unconsciously influenced in exactly the way intended. of course, when many of them check out the "curriculum," it'll just confirm what they already "think."

I get Ben Carson’s organization’s nonsense. I think they still say Geo. Washington threw a coin across a River.

...and I'd bet on Parson Weems's Cherry Tree Bubbe Maise (i.e.--bullshit) being there as well.

I assume that most of us have seen the two "revisions" of the Rosa Parks story in those Florida textbooks in which the final version makes her sound psychotic because any mention of anything involving race has been "scrubbed."

Good point - I'll work on the Democratic Party part! BUT many of the failures are Democrats (people) failing to speak out. it's also the Democratic Party. I'll watch that. Thanks.

Foxes, being opportunistic, will ravage a chicken coop any chance they get. I would guess that you are saying these anti-abortion judges will rule against women's rights because they can.

If we follow the money, what do Republicans gain from making abortions illegal? What is so interesting to them to see that women produce as many children as possible? How do they gain financially from this?

As Elizabeth said, control of women, our voting rights and control of child labor. Also ( forgive me for continually beating this drum) birth rates are declining and bans will provide more babies, especially for all those faith-based adoption agencies (follow the $$) that can discriminate against non-white,non-“Christian” adopters. The Baby Scoop Era of my generation is being resurrected… “Praise The Lord!”

Their fear of the "replacement" of whites must be part of this - altho do they realize that its not only white women that are being prevented from getting abortions but ALL women! Does the lousy health system & worse maternal care for African American & native American women & others also line up with their agenda? Maybe I'm being overly paranoid but you have to wonder.

P.S.

It must be a thoroughly unrespectable reason, and i dont acceptb their gibberish about morals, because they don't care about probiding health services or education for children. What do they know about morals?

(I can't edit here, so must add further thoughts this way)

Control of women, with the ultimate goal of taking away our voting rights. And recently, it appears that they can’t get enough cheap/free child labor to make their Dark Donors even more billions.

The Party of Family Values, indeed.

When the guard dogs/Biden/ Democrats, lay down on the job and let's the foxes into the coop,

expect nothing but blood and feathers on the ground.

I am exceedingly tired to my core, of the majority of my party

of Dems, doing nothing. Chuck

Chuck Schumer I've always been

suspicious of. I had hoped Hakim

Jeffries would take a page out of

Nancy Pelosi's book and rip McCarthy a new orifice. The crickets on our side, except for

the back stabbers, is deafening.

My only objection is you called them foxes. I like foxes and they’re cute. I do not like any of these monsters and they are not cute. They’re dangerous, much more dangerous than foxes. But I’m not criticizing anything you said and am familiar with the idiom ... it’s just my fondness for foxes 🦊 ....

I agree - the idea of giving any of these creeps the name of an animal - bird or reptile - only denigrates the animal! I like all animals too much to allow these jerks to take their names.
