I'm quite stunned by the revelation of the potential repercussions that “The Loose Cannon Rule" has set for every criminal case involving physical evidence. Also hoping that the consequences of this judge acting beyond the bounds of her constitutional remit are swift and severe. Probably not but, as her seniors and betters have said, it is inconceivable that such an upstart should breach the separation of powers in this way.
Regarding the "leak" about "nuclear capabilities of a foreign ally," well maybe I'm just getting more suspicious-minded with age but something smells funny to me. The timing is good for the typical red herring dragged across the trail distraction we've seen used before. Get the medias and everyone talking about some other "shiny" thing than what Sleepy Joe and the wokes want. The side effects of it causing concern among America's allies, and damage to international relations, well that's just added bonus. How many diplomats have already quietly asked "Is it us?" The leak could even be a lie, would that be such a surprise? The tip wasn't sent from a burner phone in Little Moscow was it?
I rather suspect the leak of the information on finding the nuclear material came from someone who wanted to illuminate the problem - it's not a "shiny object" that helps Trump in the least; in fact quite the opposite.
I was thinking of an external force, perhaps a frustrated purchaser of purloined material turning on the seller they previously backed but now think is of little or no further use to them.
Good analysis, TC. Judge shopping and stacking the courts in the Jurisdiction that tfg resides will long play out for Trump, Inc. Hadn't thought about checking fingerprints, but wonder about other Trump properties and what they might hold, especially from the empty boxes or boxes missing documents so assigned to them.

And Ivana’s casket which took 10 people to carry, so I saw someplace!
Yes, I've been wondering about that, too, Chris.
