They have brought the cultural prejudices of their families with them and infected the entire lot. It’s the reason the press in DC and NY repeatedly fall for the Republican line.
I’ve wondered for a long time what motivated Lieberman. Ambition, of course, that’s a given. But why did he intuit that being a wolf in sheep’s clothing would be the best way to serve his ambition? Or was he from the start a man without empathy? Not sure how it reflects on me, but I’m honestly relieved that he can’t do any more mischief.
