What a surprise coming from a court without ethics. Corruption breeds corruption. I would like to remove 3 of the female judges not appointed by trump from my above statement.

It was inevitable. Had they found Mayor Snyder guilty, which he was, they'd have opened up potential actions against Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch at the very least as well as much of the Congress in both parties.
Melissa Matheson presented an interesting analysis today on Deadline Whitehouse, that the court is aware of its unpopularity and concerned that will drive votes to put the people who see the court as it is now as "trhe enemy" in office, so they are coming up with "decisions" like this to bamboozle voters in November that they aren't really as bad as they are. She also pointed out that there is a similar issue in a decision out of the Fifth Circuit upholding the state ban on abortion banning emergency services, which they have picked up for the next session, which they can they decide after the election that sees TFPOS (that fucking piece of shit) victorious.
IтАЩm sure sheтАЩs right. Another one is their ruling on the mifepristone case, allowing it to stay on the market, but only because the group challenging its use didnтАЩt have standing to sue. IтАЩm sure after the election someone else will come along that they decide does have standing and they can rule that it be banned.
