Scott Apley, a member of the Galveston County Republican Party, died of Covid-19.In his last Facebook post, Apley shared a screenshot of a Twitter post mocking Covid-19: “In 6 months, we’ve gone from the vax ending the pandemic, to you can still get Covid even if vaxxed, to you can pass Covid onto others even if vaxxed, to you can still die of Covid even if vaxxed, to the unvaxxed are killing the vaxxed,” the post read.

Wonder who is paying attention? Covid is a final exam for current evolution of sapiens. Many failed due to leadership incompetence. Current fails are all about lack of mental fitness. You rock my boat, TC.
What did Forrest Gump say? Stupid is as stupid does. Even if he didn't say it, seems to apply here. We've gone from 14,000 daily infections just in June to now over 106,000 just yesterday! The vast majority of these infections are in those who have not gotten the vaccine. Tragic and so unnecessary. I am glad it is not a polio epidemic as I experienced as a child. I am sure my parents were grateful when the vaccine was available and rushed to get us kids our shots. I did the same for my own children and by then it was drops taken by mouth. And worldwide polio is mostly eradicated where there are continuing vaccine campaigns. What is in for gop led states to see their residents sicken and die? I do not get it. I guess when ideology is your go to place then everyone is at risk.
