H. Scott Apley, a member of the Galveston County Republican Party, died of Covid-19.In his last Facebook post, Apley shared a screenshot of a Twitter post mocking Covid-19: “In 6 months, we’ve gone from the vax ending the pandemic, to you can still get Covid even if vaxxed, to you can pass Covid onto others even if vaxxed, to you can still die of Covid even if vaxxed, to the unvaxxed are killing the vaxxed,” the post read.

Apley shared other Facebook posts showing support for burning masks. He also criticized vaccine incentives. Apley was admitted to a Galveston hospital two days after that post with pneumonia-like symptoms. He thereafter tested positive for Covid-19 and was placed on a ventilator, dying soon afterward.

Dick Farrel, a local right-wing talk show host in Florida, who was an anti-vaxxer that did not support the vaccine until he was infected, has died of COVID.

WPTV reported:

“On Facebook, Farrel advocated against getting the coronavirus vaccine and was skeptical of Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, and his recommendations concerning the coronavirus.

“Friends said after contracting the virus he changed his point of view.”

And then...

Representative Ralph Norman (R-S.C.), one of three GOP congressmen who filed a lawsuit last week against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over the mask mandate in the House of Representatives, has tested positive for Covid-19.

Norman’s announcement came the week after he, along with fellow Republican Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie sued Pelosi after they were all fined $500 for not wearing masks on the floor of the House of Representatives.

The House Ethics Committee upheld the fines last month.
