This report is a reminder that aviation mechanics are going to be in short supply unless military recruiting picks up because that's where many are trained. The folks who know how to deal with the older birds are moving on, and their replacements are not assured.

Well, I talked to a fellow photographer this morning and he says that the haze over southern California is such that he got up and the visibility wasn't worth wasting time on. So there's that.
