News has broken last night and this morning that Jack Smith is bringing his grand jury back into session this week. Legal observers believe that - given the news of the past week - this is the moment he will seek an indictment of former president Trump for either the Mara-A-Lago documents investigation or the January 6 investigation (or both). As MSNBC legal affairs analyst Glenn Kerchner pointed out, given the operation of federal courts under the Speedy Trial Act, this is literally the last moment that such an indictment can happen with any chance of wrapping up the trial before the main election season in 2024.
The pressure on DJT is intense. If he strokes out the MAGAs will make a martyr of him and claim Smith, Willis, and Bragg did him in, and they will never be safe from the MAGA thugs and thugettes. Trump has poisoned the nation in a more lasting way than covid or whatever the next pandemic virus will be ever could. Trump's generals need to go down with him.
Yes, I will believe a trump indictment or a Trump arrest when I see it. As someone pointed out, he will likely be under home confinement since he has a 24 hour security team.

Am I prescient or what? I could have told MSNBC that the last chump “presidency” was a practice for what he had planned. It was only a practice because he and his cretins had to do a little trial and error and there was some pushback from the people within iota of integrity that thought they could contain the disaster. Another such go around and they will be able to do the worst that they can dream of. I was sure that the plan was for chump to be able to control civil service rules/regs so he could threaten all government workers (retirees, contractors, etc) and install toadies to do his bidding ALL OVER THE LAND. I even thought this on Nov 9, 2016. His evil was not a surprise, but then I haven’t watched Fox since I stopped hanging out at my best friend’s house years ago.
‘THE’ ? James Comey…the one responsible for getting trump elected? That one! If it is that one and the same, recall, Cowardly Comey did not have the guts to discipline the rogue agents who were going to violate their oath of office and reveal the content of an ongoing investigation, IF…IF … Comey did not reveal that the FBI reopened the bogus HRC e-mail investigation. He may be exceptionally tall, kbut the body part is minuscule which is ‘associated’ with a man’s courage!
