Tom! HOORAY for AOC!

"New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said Monday she is weighing removing New York City Mayor Eric Adams from office after four of his top deputies announced their resignations." Now is the time to remove Adam's. She has the power to do it. My God! The corruption is just incredible...in both parties. That's what makes AOC standing up so significant. We must all stand up against this "elected" regime.

It's time someone actually did something about NYC. Hockul should have stepped in when Adams was charged.

Hegseth, what a tool.

Yes its ‘tired Tuesday’ because Monday was at least a month. Thanks for the latest on American politics otherwise known as CRIME AND CORRUPTION. Its infectious!

Adams is out of feet between shooting himself and/or putting them in his mouth. I suspect Hochul will step in soon so Adams will become ambassador to Ukraine and will start digging for resources there, perhaps he will clean up Chernyoble, it will onlt take 4-6 light years.

Keep us informed 👍

I am so FUCKING tired of the lie Trump won in a landslide. He. Did. Not. He won with a slim margin of 1.5% thanks to the idiots who stayed home. I actually read a comment yesterday saying the "evil done to Gaza" was as bad as Trump. JFC. I continue to leave messages to Congress, but the WH Comment line won't let me leave a message. First it was unavailable due to inclement weather. Is the phone outside? Then it was call Monday through Thursday between 11am and 3pm. Then today it was enter the following digits and then it hangs up. I am so angry at Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries who don't do shit but ask for money. And I'm even tired of Jasmine Crockett who has a good word game but hasn't done anything else. It hasn't been one month and the absolute cruelty and stupidity of Prez Trusk has been unprecedented. Finally saw a report that RFK Jr had said all Black youth were on "Benzos" or ADHD meds and needed to be "re-parented" and work outside. Gee, a return to picking cotton and singing. Who knew. Thank you, Tom. You help channel my rage.

I almost hate to come back at that great rant with a defense of Hakeem Jeffries, but given the amount of power the minority party doesn't have in congress, he is laying some traps the dumbasses are going to walk into. They cannot get that budget deal passed on their own, and they are now 30 days out from the government shutting down, and Jeffries is serious that Democrats are over with being "the adults in the room" who pull the GOP's bacon out of the fire all the time. Let the government shut down, and let it be on the GOP. I'm even at the point of let the debt limit go to hell - all it protects is Wall Street and they need another ass kicking.

Oh, Tom, you are so right. This is the moment. This is the precise, exquisite moment when Hakeem Jeffries should follow through and STOP BEING THE GOOD PARTY helping the Republican Party. For years, Democrats have swooped in at the last minute, extinguishing the dumpster fires that the GOP gleefully set, only to be rewarded with more obstruction, more bad-faith tantrums, and more performative idiocy. And now? Now the Democrats have KINDOF shrugged, said, not my circus, not my lunatics, and should leave the Republicans to choke on their own incompetence.

Jeffries ought to just stand back—watching with a knowing smile as the GOP, fully incapable of governing, stumbles into the bear traps of their own making. A shutdown is looming, and here’s the kicker: Democrats could save them. They could make the necessary deals, offer the votes, patch things together like they always have. But they shouldn’t. Not this time. Because if there is one thing the modern GOP does better than anything, it’s self-immolation. And Jeffries should hand them the torch and the match.

And the debt limit? Oh, the precious, sacred, untouchable debt limit that exists solely to prop up Wall Street’s delicate constitution? Let it burn. Wall Street has spent decades funnelling cash to the very politicians who’ve turned Congress into a sad little vaudeville act. They deserve to feel the consequences of their investments. Maybe, just maybe, if the money dries up, the GOP will be forced to remember that governance is not, in fact, an improv routine performed by rage-fueled idiots.

So, yes, let them shut it all down. Let every GOP House member go on Fox News and sputter about how “Biden is responsible” while wearing the very matches around their necks like a statement necklace. Let them own it. And let Hakeem Jeffries watch not saying one word but,”NO”, arms crossed, one eyebrow raised, as the whole thing crashes down around them. Because sometimes, the best way to handle a party that refuses to learn is to stop saving them from themselves.

They can go fuck themselves. If I had my way, we would never ever help them one iota with anything ever.

Let them burn the country down while we watch because from what I’m reading that’s exactly where we are right now—Blazing —with no fire hydrants in sight.

In the Senate Tuberville stopped military promotions and at that time R's were in the minority. If Hakeem is doing anything it's because we're hammering his ass on the phone.

Heartsore at nearly every word. Doing all I reasonably can and feeling like it will never be enough. Surely we will reach a tipping point where even the dumbasses who elected him will start to figure out what they are losing? It can't come soon enough.

I don't know how you do this, Tom... amazing summaries. I've organized an Arlington VA protest at Tesla just over an hour from now. Either that or curl up and quit. Yesterday we protested in red Woodstock VA - 200+ people!

UPDATE: West Texas Measles Outbreak Data:

58 Confirmed Infections of NOT vaxed Patients now

4 Additional Patients Vaccinated or NOT Vaccinated status is unknown

13 Hospitalized who are majority *Children

Deadline Whitehouse (DW) is the 1st Platform I have seen with accurate data.

DW used Dr. MICHAEL OSTERHOLM the Director of Infectious Disease at University Minnesota

to confirm data & the current Measles Outbreak as a "harbinger" of diseases to come.

Do you remember Dr. Osterholm back in Covid Days? When Wreck's was AWOL?

RFK Jr. is AWOL now!

There is a roughly 200 mile strip called the "Outer Continental Shelf" that recognizes US ownership of the ocean FLOOR within that OCS. I checked. It doesn't include ownership of the WATER over that area. So the proper name is "the Gulf comprised of Water Over Some Land Of The US ---The Gulf of WOSLOTUS. Has a nice ring to it.

I think all those like Alina, Musk, etc who try to rewrite history should be consistently referred to as AKA Winston Smith. With a footnote explaining that in 1984 Winston's job was rewriting history before he rebelled. Footnote can be omitted once everyone in the US knows who Winston is.

We can call those like Homan who try to rewrite LAWS on the fly as AKA Orban. AOC is having a great gadfly time.

Say what you will about WaPo's advertising dept (and do we know for sure that Bezos ordered it?)--WaPo has been continuously critical of trump of late (maybe too late, though I actually don't think sanewashing had much influence on the election. ) Further it is producing excellent human interest stories that create narratives of how people are hurting. One, which shows how OSHA needs strengthening, not weakening, is the story of a dreadful mill in Alabama with multiple horrendous fatalities. (This isn't "hurting" under trump policies, but hurting under inadequate controls over worker safety).

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/interactive/2025/osha-workplace-deaths-safety-sawmill/?itid=sr_1_01b9b9ee-ce65-4e8c-a339-a757a56a198b.

We NEED more narratives: that's the only way facts will actually sink in. Lots of neuroscience behind that proposition. You will remember what that story shows LONG after you absorb any trumpmuskian diatribe about oppressive regulation.

I worked for a construction company/construction management company for almost 30 years! In the last 5-10 years, we had to have a Safety Inspector - one of our employees who toured our jobs to make sure they were up to OSHA specs. when the inspectors (OSHA) came to the jobs. OSHA saves lives - prevents injuries - ensures that everyone is safe on the job. In the years before that happened - there were many accidents with bad injuries & even a death at one time.

These dipwads have no idea at all of the absolute death and injury damage that will be caused without the oversight of OSHA!

I'm sure there are hundreds of stories of instances where people's lives & well-being were saved by the foresight of this agency/organization - like the Alabama mill fatalities.

Allowing a gang of inexperienced, uneducated twits to poke their noses and fingers into these agencies & stir things around? Ignorant & stupid doesnt begin to cover it.

Trump and Putin, two cats playing with a mouse that just wants to survive and get the hell out of range. The imperialism of both of them gives Xi and China some subtle openings on the world stage, and Xi is smarter than both of them. Watch for their sly moves in coming months. Trump fancies he's playing with the big boys now, but Putin and Xi are just throwing his red cap back and forth and laughing at him.

AOC, Warren, Sheinbaum, Crystia Freeland of Canada, it's clearly the women who have the cajones in dealing with this administration, but where is Harris? We need her visible to remind voters that there was a worthy alternative.

Yes, very disappointing. Hate to say it, but Dems who don't bow may need to form a coalition with the Lincoln Project folks if any resistance is going to be effective. At least we know who the fearless ones are on the national scene.
