Today is Day 84 of Trump’s Attempted Fascist Revolution. There are 567 days to the mid terms.
We are now five days and counting into Maladministration II engaging in ongoing contemptuous behavior toward the judicial branch, with their refusal to follow a district court order backed by the Supreme Court. Maladministration II’s conduct has been on-brand: egregious, brazen, and contemptible, as they refuse to comply with deadlines and rebuff the judge’s repeated demands for information as they shift their arguments and positions in their attempt to re-litigate already- decided matters, sending DOJ lawyers into court unarmed with facts or legitimate legal arguments. At the White House yesterday, they attempted to justify defying the courts, human rights, and basic decency, when the mendacious criminal conspirators invented, distorted, and disregarded facts about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, inventing a lie about the legal background of his case and the court orders they are currently defying. Their actions yesterday make suspect anything the InJustice Department has said in court about the case since PINO himself has made Maladministration II’s position clear that they will not stop this defiance. In so doing, these criminals have created evidence sufficient to impeach the president, vice president and every cabinet member present, which will never happen so long as their fellow criminal conspirators in the House and Senate maintain their majorities. These events are about far more than the case of one innocent whose life is being destroyed through administrative mendacity and cruelty.
We are in the darkest time in the country’s history. The survival of the United States as a constitutional democratic republic is at stake. PINO’s broader scheme to use El Salvador as an extra-legal dumping ground – beyond the reach of U.S. law – for those he deems undesirable won’t be limited to El Salvadoran migrants or alleged-but-unproven Venezuelan gang members.
From the Department of The Shit’s Getting Real: PINO told Salvadorian autocrat Bukele that he wants him to build more of his hard-labor torture prisons in El Salvador so he can send American citizens there next. Trump was speaking quietly and privately to Bukele in the Oval Office away from reporters during that conversation, but was captured on a hot mic from the Salvadorian govt’s livestream: "Home-growns are next. The home-growns. You gotta build about 5 more places. It's not big enough." Trump to the press: "I'd like to go a step further. I said to Pam Bondi, I don't know what the laws are, we always have to obey the laws, but we also have homegrown criminals that push people into subways. I'd like to include them in the group of people to get them out of the country."
From the Department of And This Is How They’ll Do It: A U.S. citizen received an email from DHS ordering her to self-deport from the country “immediately,” according to The Boston Globe. When Nicole Micheroni, an immigration attorney and partner at the law firm Cameron Micheroni & Silvia, first received the email Friday morning, she thought it was meant for one of her clients. “It took me a couple of minutes to realize it was sent to me instead of someone I represent.” The subject line of the email read: “Notification of Termination of Parole.”The body of the notice failed to specify a client name or case number. “DHS is terminating your parole. Do not attempt to remain in the United States—the federal government will find you." DHS later confirmed the notice was sent to Micheroni by mistake. A practicing immigration lawyer for 12 years, she said she has never seen immigration parole terminated by email. A “mistake”? Tell that to Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
From the Department of MAGA Turds Are Increasing: A growing number of Republicans are embracing PINO’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement, fueling an overall surge in the number of Americans who identify with MAGA according to a new poll from NBC News.
Over 70 percent of Republicans surveyed for the March poll said they consider themselves part of the MAGA movement, up from 55 percent just before the November presidential election. The GOP consolidation around Trump and his policies has fostered an overall shift toward adopting the MAGA moniker and lifting it to new heights, the survey found. Trump isn’t the first politician to try to coin the campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” but the shorthand MAGA has been synonymous with the former reality TV star and the populist leanings of his political ideology since he launched his first successful presidential campaign nearly a decade ago. About 1 in 5 registered voters across all parties polled in January 2024 identified as MAGA supporters, NBC News reported. That number nearly doubled, to just under 40 percent, in the survey conducted last month. The shift also was particularly pronounced among college- educated men, from 21 percent last fall to 37 percent in March. The NBC News poll, which was conducted by nonpartisan pollster Public Opinion Strategies, surveyed 1,000 registered voters by telephone and online March 7-11. The margin of error is 3.1 percentage points.
From the Department of Law Barbie Is The Worst Of Them: Law Barbie alleged Attorney General Pam Bondi went on Jesse Watters’ show last night on Faux Snooze, where she continued to create lies about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, saying that he is “not a Maryland man” as he has been portrayed by the “liberal press.” “Jesse, you know, when you’re listening to all these liberal reporters, they keep calling him a Maryland man. He’s not a Maryland man. He’s part of foreign terrorist organization. He’s a member of MS-13, who, as you laid out in your monologue, came to this country and committed just gang acts.” Bondi responded to Abrego Garcia’s attorneys saying he’s not affiliated with a gang, saying “They’re wrong and he has no right to be there, but for an extra step in paperwork, just like you said, he would go right back to El Salvador, which is his home country, where he belongs.” FACT CHECK: “The ‘evidence’ against Abrego Garcia consisted of nothing more than his Chicago Bulls hat and hoodie, and a vague, uncorroborated allegation from a confidential informant claiming he belonged to MS-13’s ‘Western’ clique in New York — a place he has never lived,” Judge Paula Xinis wrote in an order last week. Watters then asked Bondi about PINO’s statement he would like to send “homegrowns” to El Salvador’s prisons. She said, “Well, Jesse, these are Americans who he is saying who have committed the most heinous crimes in our country. And crime is going to decrease dramatically because he has given us a directive to make America safe again. These people need to be locked up as long as they can, as long as the law allows. We’re not going to let them go anywhere. And if we have to build more prisons in our country, we will do it.” Dr. Timothy Snyder: “On the White House’s theory, if they abduct you, get you on a helicopter, get to international waters, shoot you in the head, and drop your corpse into the ocean, that is legal, because it is the conduct of foreign affairs.”
From the Department of Resistance Continues: In response to yesterday’s statement by Harvard University that they would not comply with Maladministration II’s attempt to seize control of the university, and after then blocking over $2 billion of federal grants for research at Harvard, PINO wrote on his Lies Anti-Social last night: “Perhaps Harvard should lose its Tax Exempt Status and be Taxed as a Political Entity if it keeps pushing political, ideological, and terrorist inspired/supporting ‘Sickness?' Remember, Tax Exempt Status is totally contingent on acting in the PUBLIC INTEREST!” This was all in response to the statement by Harvard President Alan Garber: “No government - regardless of which party is in power - should dictate what private universities can teach, whom they can admit and hire, and which areas of study and inquiry they can pursue.”
From the Department of This Is How Mendacious They Are: Maladministration II has previously ordered all federal employees to remove any reference to their gender preference in their emails, specifically those signatures that include preferred pronouns, as part of their war on the trans community. That appears to have now been extended to reporters who deal with this criminal conspiracy. The New York Times reported this morning that two of its journalists and one at another outlet had received responses from administration officials to email queries declining to engage with them over the presence of the pronouns. In one case, a reporter asking about the closure of a research observatory received an email reply from Michael Jackson Nose enthusiast Karoline Leavitt saying, “As a matter of policy, we do not respond to reporters with pronouns in their bios.” In a statement to other news outlets, Leavitt said: “Any reporter who chooses to put their preferred pronouns in their bio clearly does not care about biological reality or truth and therefore cannot be trusted to write an honest story.” These motherfucking scum...
From the Department of These Motherfucking Scum Have To Be Stopped: Appearing last night on Jen Psaki’s MSNBC show, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries backed a stock trading ban for sitting members of Congress, after ripping Marjorie Traitor Goon for reportedly profiting off market fluctuations during PINO’s tariff roller-coaster. The NYT reported Monday that the Goon disclosed thousands of dollars worth of stock trades on April 8 and April 9, worth between $21,000 to $315,000. The outlet also said she let go of Treasury bills valued from $50,000 to $100,000. Psaki asked Jeffries about the report, noting the trades were made “two days before Trump announced he was pausing the sweeping global tariffs, notably stocks that were initially hit the hardest. That doesn’t sound like a coincidence to me, but what do you think of that? And … what can happen to look into that?” she asked. Jeffries responded:“So many of these people are crooks, liars and frauds. And Marjorie Taylor Greene is, of course, exhibit A. We are seeing corruption unfold before us in real time. And House Democrats and Senate Democrats are going to partner together to make sure we, of course, shine a spotlight on these issues. We do need to change the law so that sitting members of Congress cannot trade stock, period. Full stop.”
From the Department of DHS Employees Are Tired Of ICE Barbie: ICE Barbie-Dog Murderer Kristi Noem’s steady stream of publicity stunts has been a drag on her agency’s immigration enforcement efforts, according to a new report. During the ride alongs she has participated in, she has appeared in full glam - hair, makeup, and false eyelashes - and has donned military fatigues, ICE jackets, cowboy hats, bulletproof vests, and firefighting gear. In one of them, she has pointed a gun at an ICE agent’s head. he photo-ops have put her at odds with DHS employees, who say she’s acting more like a chief spokesperson than a director guiding agency operations, according to a new report in The Wall Street Journal. DHS has allocated $200 million for an ad that features her standing in front of inmates at El Salvador’s nightmare CECOT prison warning migrants—in English—they would be sent there if they tried to enter the U.S. Framed photos have been put up in different offices around the department showing Noem on horseback and riding an ATV, according to the Journal. Thanks to her travel schedule, she spends just a few hours each week at DHS’s main campus in Washington, D.C., irritating many at the department, sources told the paper. Meanwhile, Noem has become distrustful of agency staff and has begun administering polygraph tests to people she suspects of leaking information. The ICE cosplaying has also interfered with operations, according to her critics. In January, Noem accompanied ICE on a predawn raid in New York City and posted about it on X while it was still ongoing. The post hurt the element of surprise and led to fewer arrests than officials had hoped for.
Best-selling fantasy novelist Chuck Wendig (You should read “Wanderers”): “It’s hard to focus. It’s hard to focus on the things in front of me, that I need to do. It’s hard to focus on the news, because it’s not just one thing, it’s a hundred things, news like fire ants, like you stepped on their mound and here they are, swarming, and each ant feels meaningless in the context of all these angry fucking ants.”
Joyce Vance gets today’s last word: “If there were a map that showed democracy slipping into dictatorship, we would be at the spot marked ‘You are here.’ We shouldn’t sugarcoat the danger. Due process matters to immigrants and Americans alike. When the presidency refuses to honor it, we are all in danger. Donald Trump could snap his fingers and secure Abrego Garcia’s return to the United States. We all know that’s true, no matter what pretense this administration assumes.”

I credit the following to Jessica Chasten's Substack "Chop Wood, Carry Water" . I called these senators (actually got aides for two of them instead of voice mail) to voice my opinions.
"First, Indivisible sent out an email saying that there are a few Democratic Senators who haven’t yet committed to opposing the SAVE Act. As I explained on my Live yesterday, we can only afford to to lose six Senators on this vote—if seven cross the aisle and vote with Republicans they will be able to overcome a filibuster and pass the SAVE Act. Obviously not a single Democrat should be voting for a voter suppression bill, and most won’t. But, according to Indivisible, the ones who are—amazingly—still on the fence are:
AZ: Mark Kelly
GA: Rafael Warnock
NH: Maggie Hassan, Jeanne Shaheen
NV: Catherine Cortez Masto, Jacky Rosen
MI: Gary Peters"
