Both PINO and Bukele suggested they don’t have the power to return the Maryland man and Salvadoran national to the U.S., with several Maladministration II figures gathered in the office who misstated the substance of the court’s order. Bukele referred to refer to Abrego Garcia as a terrorist. “How could I return him to the United States? I smuggle him to the United States? Of course I’m not going to do it. The question is preposterous. I don’t have the power to return him to the United States. I’m not releasing – I mean, we’re not very fond of releasing terrorists into our country.”Before Bukele spoke, PINO and his gang of thugs said the decision would rest with El Salvador. They are now spouting demonstrable horseshit without caring whether any of it makes sense as they thumb their nose at the courts, saying “Nyaahh, Nyaahh - you can’t make us.” This is about to metastasize into a huge crisis. Tell me.” Miller’s claims directly contradict the Trump administration’s own admission that it wrongfully deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia—who came to the United States from El Salvador at 16—due to an “administrative error.” Miller said that bringing Abrego Garcia back from the El Salvador mega-prison he’s been deported to would amount to “kidnapping” and an “unimaginable invasion of El Salvador’s sovereignty.” At one point during Miller’s spiraling diatribe—in which he accused the media of staging a hoax by distorting the facts—an exasperated Hemmer tried to wrest back control of the segment.“Give me a chance,” Hemmer begged as Miller barreled ahead. “You haven’t even allowed me to ask a question.” I would really love to be the one who gets to put the slipknot noose around his neck on Restoration Day.

From the Department of Why Am I Unsurprised They Found Nothing?: A State Department memo obtained by The Washington Post shows the investigation of Tufts University student Rumeysa Ozturk found no links to antisemitism or terrorism. The March memo states there was not enough evidence for Secretary of State Marco Rubio to order Ozturk’s removal based on an immigration law giving the secretary power to order the deportation of a noncitizen whoise activities threaten the foreign policy of the United States. The rarely used law has become a key weapon in the administration’s immigration crackdown. Ozturk was detained March 25. DHS previously said Ozturk was involved in activities that were “in support of Hamas,” without offering further evidence. A DHS memo revealed the government is targeting Ozturk over an op-ed she wrote that called on Tufts to cut ties with companies that were involved with Israel. The State Department memo says none of the evidence pointed to ties to antisemitism or terrorist activity. However, according to the department’s memo, Ozturk can still be deported under another part of immigration law tallowing visas to be revoked at the discretion of the secretary of State. Presidential physician Sean Barbabella wrote that Trump, 78, was in “excellent health,” was “fully fit” to serve as president, and maintained an “active lifestyle,” name-checking his frequent golfing habits. as a major contributor to said good health. “His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being. President Trump’s days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events.” (Gag me with a spoon) A HuffPost analysis earlier this month estimated that PINO’s golfing trips cost roughly $30.4 million during the first 11 weeks of his occupation of the White House. The scheme cooked up by Elmo’s goon squad falsely lists thousands of migrants as dead in a Social Security database known as the “death master file.” Being entered into the death database cuts a person off from crucial financial services, like the ability to receive government benefits and access a bank account or credit card. The goal was to push migrants who were granted a temporary legal status under former President Joe Biden to “self deport.” Jim Francis, a consumer law lawyer who is suing Social Security for wrongly entering a Maryland woman into the file, cast the repercussions in dire terms. “It’s the source of that data that the whole world uses, which is why, if it’s inaccurate, it has such devastating impacts on people. Overnight, you literally become financially paralyzed.” DOGE had been working on a strategy to push out immigrants since February. A group of about a dozen civil servants from Social Security were assigned to help Elmo’s goons and agents from the Department of Homeland Security with the plot. So in this process, you're gonna see in 11 different committees of jurisdiction across the House working.” Republicans in Congress are going to decide who has a “real” disability and who doesn’t. If Republicans decide that conditions like obesity, mental illness, diabetes, and anxiety disorder aren’t “real disabilities,” people will lose their health insurance. Johnson mentioned able-bodied people, which suggests that anyone who doesn't have a physical disability could potentially lose their health insurance. In an X post Saturday, Sticker Mule CEO and former New York congressional candidate Anthony Constantino announced he had given the president the bronze monument while visiting Trump International Golf Club. “The President was in a happy, joking mood, which was great to see,” Constantino said, adding that he unveiled the president’s gift to him Saturday morning. As detailed in Constantino’s announcement, the statue will seemingly be a “permanent fixture” of PINO’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, and will be situated between the property’s “clubhouse and the first hole of the 27-hole golf course” for all members to be able to see. The seven-foot bronze statue was made in Colorado by George Lundeen, according to Constantino, who noted that it also sits atop a stone pedestal engraved with his name. The statue is named “The Defiance Monument” and captures the president posing while holding his fist after pretending to be shot in his ear last summer in Pennsylvania at his hatealong rally.

According to the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA), overseas visits to the U.S. fell 12% overall in March compared to the same month last year. Western Europe—traditionally a key source of tourists—was down 7%, but that modest figure masks some dramatic declines in specific countries. U.K. visitors, the single largest tourist group to the U.S., were down 14%. Ireland, another crucial market, saw a staggering 27% drop. Denmark fell a whopping 34%. The suit read: “This action challenges the Trump administration’s unlawful and unprecedented misuse of federal funding and civil rights enforcement authority to undermine academic freedom and free speech on a university campus.” Andrew Manuel Crespo, a Harvard law professor and the general counsel of AAUP’s Harvard chapter, said in a statement that “Harvard faculty have the constitutional right to speak, teach and conduct research without fearing that the government will retaliate against their viewpoints by canceling grants.” The AAUP is seeking a temporary restraining order to stop Maladministration II from withdrawing Harvard’s funds. Maladministration II previously sent a letter to the university claiming they had “fundamentally failed to protect American students and faculty from antisemitic violence.” This is in accordance with PINO’s executive order to combat antisemitism on college campuses, which has opened up probes into 60 schools, including elite institutions such as Columbia University.

In an editorial titled “Trump’s Exceptional Tariff Weekend,” the newspaper’s conservative editorial board outlined what it called a “confusing weekend” driven by the “arbitrary nature of Trump trade policy,” citing the announcement of a “czarve out” for consumer electronics, followed by Howard Nutlicker saying the tariff wasn’t being reduced but redefined, and that it still applied to consumer electronics. “So what happened and what’s the real policy? Who knows? Welcome to the new tariff economy, where you still pay onerous taxes, endure punishing regulation, and now must also navigate the political minefield of arbitrary tariffs.”

That’s up from 48% who said the same in March. Fears about a forthcoming recession hit a boiling point in the last two weeks, as PINO’s on-again-off-again tariff policy ratcheted up volatility in financial markets and stirred panic among some consumers. 75% of CEOs surveyed said tariffs would hurt their businesses in 2025. 66% said they did not support the proposed levies.

At 91%, nearly all Republicans said Trump has a clear plan on tariffs and trade. Only 43% of independents and 16% of Democrats said the same. In all, 58% of respondents said they oppose new U.S. tariffs on imported goods.

According to press releases and publicly posted event notices, the majority of town halls and town hall-style events taking place over the congressional recess will be hosted by Democrats. The few Republicans who have publicly advised that they’ll be holding town halls include Reps. Marjorie Traitor Goon and profession Trump houseboy Byron Donalds, who played football without a helmet a time or two too many. They each restricted registration for their upcoming town halls to residents of their respective districts Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who just launched his 45th annual 99-county tour of Iowa, will also be holding a public town hall in his state.

From the Department of Finally A University Grows A Spine: Harvard University is rejecting demands from Maladministration II, threatening the school’s federal funding as part of a broader clampdown on higher education. In a message to the Harvard community from its leadership — and in a corresponding letter from the school’s attorneys to the federal government — the university said that while it is and will continue to engage in reforms, those changes should not be dictated. “No government — regardless of which party is in power — should dictate what private universities can teach, whom they can admit and hire, and which areas of study and inquiry they can pursue,” President Alan Garber said in his message.
