I read some analysts a day or so ago on the slide--one of those "so and so said and then so and so said and then so and so said" analyses. The gist was that Wall Street likes stability and that is about the last thing trump brings. Who wants to invest in a company that might have ICE tramping through its warehouses?

About a week into the Trump administration being in office it was discovered that his "advisor" daughter was using a private server, and when confronted with that fact, she said she hadn't known she wasn't supposed to. This was after the entire nation had been subjected to the right wing foaming at the mouth for an extended period over Hillary using a private server and cries of "lock her up" had provided entertainment at every one of her dad's rallies. It was a jaw dropping pretense of ignorance or else a jaw dropping display of true ignorance in someone who was about to be paid for political advice.
Do you think Louisiana’s new possible health mandate has to do with preventing a future manslaughter lawsuit aimed at Donald Trump for killing hundreds of thousands of people because he told millions of his followers that vaccines, social distancing and mask wearing were unnecessary?
To Grover, Dave, and Yehawes below: The Dems need to start something like the Doomsday Clock on which they log each gaff and snafu by the Musk administration so that when 2026 comes around Dems can campaign with pictures and billboards of the Maga Midnight. People "get" visuals. And the Town Crier needs to make a loud ceremony of adding to that clock. Moscowitz could be good at this, or rotate the ceremonial chore among Dem volunteers. Maybe Katie Porter could do this because she's been so efficient with visuals and it could set up her return to Congress. Do it this way and the right wing spinners will have trouble lying about all of it. It's a far better gimmick, gimmick though it be, than cheap hightops painted with gold Rust-o-leum paint.

Auschwitz was not the only concentration of horrors camp but it has come to symbolize the holocaust in general. As I was reading this, the news popped up: Senate has passed by voice vote the bill for children's cancer research ( the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0) that the House passed back in March and the Senate has been sitting on ever since. Don't know why sitting: filibuster? Any way, up yours, Elunge.. Slightly different bill--now the House GOP will be the bad guy if they don't accept the changes.
