People "get" visuals. And the Town Crier needs to make a loud ceremony of adding to that clock. Moscowitz could be good at this, or rotate the ceremonial chore among Dem volunteers. Maybe Katie Porter could do this because she's been so efficient with visuals and it could set up her return to Congress. Do it this way and the right wing spinners will have trouble lying about all of it. It's a far better gimmick, gimmick though it be, than cheap hightops painted with gold Rust-o-leum paint.
