Loved the deep dive into his morals through golf. I don't play, have never had much interest in the game, but it does seem like there are two main threads about how the game is played -- each person's score and handicap, and how well the rules are adhered to. It's clearly a game that fairly well demonstrates the Honor System, and the idea of who holds to that Honor Code and who doesn't, is very much a sign of that person's own moral code. Surely, the fact that golf is so integral to many business dealings, must show that it also becomes a way to determine the morals and trustworthiness of business associates. I appreciate your spelling it out where Trump is concerned. Not surprised at all.
The Honor System - sort of reminds me of the system of governance - far too many loopholes in "how its always been done". Strange that the writers of the Constitution didnt think ahead enough to realize that eventually someone will come along who has no honor. Actually, not just one someone but many currently.
