Lucian's newsletter is very eclectic. he does excellent political/social/military analysis (West Point grad, grandson of the Lucian K. Truscott who was setior Allied commander in Italy in WW2), a longtime writer, novelist, and overall interesting person. Lots of cool stories of his storied life back in the 60s-70s when he was at the Village Voice. Thomas Jeffersion is his sixth great grandfather.
