And now at least some of the pundits seem bemused, like "Huh?" Since I'm involved in a local Israel-Palestine group, most of whose members are younger than I am (73), I sensed that Shapiro would be a problem -- and my personal challenge has been to persuade my colleagues to vote for Harris even though they're not happy at all with the Biden administration's waffling on Israel policy. With Shapiro on the ticket I might have thrown in the towel.
