Thanks.
He really is like a python-- squeezing, squeezing the life out of us, then swallowing us whole.
I hope it was not a python that got sweet Ginger . We had two St Bernards snatched by gators, who drown their prey before eating.
Gosh, so many dangerous predators, animal and human, living in Florida!!
Ginger was probably eaten by the crew of coyotes that came though our neighborhood here and wiped out the feral cat colony. (You're supposed to leave the damn things around, but if I saw one I'd shot it on sight and the law be damned; the same way I'd like a python down there)
We have also lost small animals to the Coyotes around Orlando. People are advised not to walk their small dogs at night but the outside cats are at risk. We have also had black bears coming into neighborhoods looking for food. Pythons-- more numerous in South Florida where the big orange one hangs out! Python ligaments stretch; they can ingest whole deer and whole humans. Your python image is an apt one for tfg.
Thanks.

Thank you, thank you. I was so wrapped up in the "real" squeeze that I missed CH's version.
LOVE CARL HIAASEN! Many Thanks to Florida!
