I wish I could say I popped a bottle of champagne when they finally passed the UK aid & just took some time off to relish the victory. But I went right into feeling suspicious about Johnson's 180 & specifically how Trump / PUtin's directives were given. I can't imagine that pleas from Zelensky & just about everyone else convinced Johnson to do the right thing. He is part of the evil takeover & his bio is downright weird. I follow Ukraine news daily & I have a lot of the atrocities to overcome before I celebrate the sense of relief for very long. A Ukrainian woman who lost her soldier husband on the front lines the other day was so full of grace & optimism when asked what she wanted to tell Americans , 'I believe Americans have heart' , she believed we'd pass the bill. Such grace in her profound grief shifted me from shouting at CSPAN moments earlier where T.Snyder eloquently tried to wake up the traitors. We take a risk by caring about injustices but the risk is greater to not pay attention. I just would benefit from a longer sense of relief but all the BS keeps piling up. Slava Ukraine.
