I'm tempted to ask how much worse things could get with this congress, but I'm afraid they'd take it as a challenge.

There are times when words are truly inadequate to express how I feel about this.

I'm backing the States Project

that's heavily involved in VA

right now.

Word is out President Biden is

going to Israel on Wednesday. If they elect Jordan tomorrow, he's 3rd in

line.

Whether you believe in God or not, if you believe, at the very least, in our country and

freedom, I hope all will ask for

Joseph Biden's safety and

return to the US.

he is a brave man and much more!! Real leadership from the brain AND the heart.

Jordan must never be allowed to be a couple of heartbeats away from the Presidency. The corrupt Republican party is destroying our country from within.

They are actively doing Putin's work. Clear as a bell. Liz Cheny may not be news worthy any more but she calls it like it is. Our corporate media is hellbent on losing the constitutional mandate for an unfettered free press. Their silence speaks volumes.

We should have known the repugnants would cave to gym. They are all a bunch of spineless cowards. While babies are blown apart and people are tortured in the Middle East, they are afraid of their own shadow. Way too scary to stand up to the maggots. And the ones who made deals with gym for his support...right..what idiots. Gym is working for tfg and only tfg.

As I have said before - the so-called "moderate" (supposedly) Rs are nothing more than a bunch of wimps and p**sies! Sorry for the crudeness but that is what they are - scared to death of that orange maggot & his suckups.

You can help us in Virginia so that we don't repeat the trifecta disaster in Louisiana. Early voting for the statehouse / General Assembly is ongoing. Every seat. Election Day is Nov. 7. Gov. SweaterVest aka Trump-lite, his gun-toting useless LG and the Attorney General are all Republican. The Senate has had a one vote Dems majority to create a Blue Wall; the House of Delegates has a small R majority. We're voting in new districts (one year late, but non-partisan and not awful) and many of the Old Guard are not running. So it's anyone's guess. We MUST hold the Blue Wall. As Virginia goes, so goes the nation next year. Please help here: https://www.ruralgroundgame.org/weekofaction

Yes, as a Floridian, daily actions help keep me ( semi)sane🤪 ! Already called my Freedom Caucus Rep about Gym Jordan, most likely an action in futility but there are constructive things we can do.⬇️

Win Races—WRITE! ✍🏼 Postcards 4 VA just sent out an email showing a picture of the REPUBLICAN postcard that one of their writer’s husbands received! The GOP is copying us and sending postcards in Virginia! Ack! Can anyone send more postcards for VA? Click here to get more addresses.➡️ https://open.substack.com/pub/chopwoodcarrywaterdailyactions/p/chop-wood-carry-water-1013-b71?r=fqsxl&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

Also a phonebank(auto dialer) so it’s easy and fun ! Let’s help make sure those mail in ballots are turned in.🗳️

Don’t want to say I told you so....

But even I am surprised how sheep like these Republicans can be. “He’s disgraceful, so..I guess I’ll vote for him.” 🤦🏻‍♂️

In 2008, a then-friend convinced me that I should be on Facebook. Interestingly, Facebook helped end our friendship, though that person doesn't know it. But I digress.

From day one, I said that the republican party was not merely retrograde, but guilty of treason against the United States under Article III, Section 3 of the US Constitution. And if Gym Jordan becomes speaker, then it will be a reminder that neither Barack Obama nor Joe Biden had the guts to act against this treason.

It makes me rage and cower in fear at the same time. Beyond comprehension.

making jokes about this feels like the first (and, for most of us, only) place to go to gather one's chi (or whatever) for the struggle ahead. I speak of the struggle to remain more or less "sane" in the face of easily the worst political situation that's occurred during my increasingly long lifetime.

but seriously, while it was tempting to say things like "it can't get much lower," we all knew that after the O'Connor crisis, it was bound to get worse because THIS was inevitable.

the only available fun to be had is to speculate about both how horrifying Jordan's performance will be and how long it's gonna take. and oh yeah...I suppose we could speculate about what it's going to be about...

I doubt any promises were made unless they were intimidation promises about personal safety because all the wingers have is thuggery and it works well because all the wingers know how they got to where they are: deceit, chicanery and sabotage of the democratic process. It won't be enough for Jordan to be taken to the mat, so to speak, there must be a collective takedown of these enemies of the state. Going high won't get it. The Dems need to get down and dirty and wave the banners of any goods, personal or otherwise, that they have on what used to be colleagues but are now clearly threats to the whole shebang. Making nice has its limitations.

(It would be great if Jordan started receiving multiple subpoenas to lawsuit hearings involving the OSU victims, and it would be nice if he were sued personally by some of the lads because if some of them were under age at the time, Jordan was a mandatory reporter of abuse.)

Yup, another Chump, but dumber--although that seems improbable; and even less "charismatic" than Yamface.
