I’m surprised my Freedom Caucus Rep didn’t sign the article of collusion and treason.Posey the Poser, one of the (NOT) Sweet 16 who has never voted to raise the debt ceiling and voted against aid for Ukraine.I guess his star faded after sponsoring the birther bill.

Friday flashback time!⬇️

“COLBERT: I am demanding a DNA test to determine whether Florida Congressmen are part alligator. I have had enough of the reckless whispering. But the rumor is, that the morning after the great Okeechobee Hurricane in 1928, Posey's grandmother got stranded with a gator, and fell in love. Now, obviously I don't want to go into any details, but they say the swamp rang with her screams of ecstacy, mingled with the insistent but gentle hissing of her reptilian Romeo.”😂🐊

Why am I not at all surprised!

Republican congressmen were taking money from Hitler's regime to undermine

our stance during WWII. It's

in the Nuremberg records for crying out loud, with their names. They were chit chatting with Hitler's consulate in person and by phone all the time. Wrong RFK is a disgrace! MFCarlson

needs to find a new country

to live in. Wonder if he's being investigated on the down low? I hope so.

He may have been the one whose public testimony Murdoch didn’t want to hear/see all over the other media.

I pray so!

Thanks for the Friday roundup of crazies---who unfortunately have some real power. Phucker and RFKjr are serious internal dangers. The s..t and the acts against the USA just pile up deeper and deeper.

Terrifying, though, the number of good Democrats who hear "RFK" and assume he is the spittin' image of his dad, when he's justa spittin'.

Pardon me while I pick up my jaw. I know it fell somewhere around here.

As a kid Tucker must have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to exit his locker at school after being crammed into it by some of his classmates who probably did rock-paper-scissors to see whose turn it would be to bend him that day. His M-O is that of a whiny bow-tied contrarian who thinks that such a position alone makes him appear to be an intellectual. (The affection wears thin, so much so that I'm confident his wife loves having him out from underfoot five days of the week.) That he's a Putin appeaser gives him international cachet of a dark and very sick sort, I suppose, but once his old fart audience dies off, he's going to have to find a job in Hungary.

As for Kennedy, Jr., his childhood trauma is well known. It's unclear why he thinks he's presidential material, but let him spend the rest of his trust fund any way he likes. He will not get the Democratic nomination. But running as a Dem at least he won't be a spoiler like Jill Stein was in 2016, clearly a right wing plant to draw off votes.

Bottom line with Fox: Rupert protected the collective with his dough, but the individuals left to fend for themselves--Powell, Guiliani, Piro, et. al., may get their lying asses handed to them in court later.

First, I called him Tuck-k-ker K-K-Karlson, but that's also based on him having slandered me on his show. I may adopt your first name for him.

Second, my all-time favorite sportswriter was Red Smith, whose given name was Walter Wellesley Smith, prompting his editor to call him the greatest sportswriter ever to have the names of two women's colleges in his name. In 1944, he covered an Army-Notre Dame game that Army won 59-0. Really. And this was his lede:

"Quiet country churchyards from Killarney to Kimberly gave off a strange, whirring sound this afternoon as departed Irish whirled and spun and did flipflops under the sod."

If you go out to Arlington and stand by Bobby Kennedy's grave, you can hear the same. Ethel Kennedy must be sitting at home and wondering where she went wrong.

Well, obviously the difference was that West Point wasn't losing any of their football players to the draft, unlike Notre Dame. :-)

“Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement. "We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.” (WAPO) See gifted link below.

RFK the now Much Lesser could have stayed in environmental law and done some good for his country, but he chose to go off the anti-vaxx deep end in 2005, around the time Oprah Winfrey gave antivaxxer Jenny McCarthy a national platform. I guess after believing the first lie that believing others was easy for him. I recall his dad started as a staff lawyer for Joe McCarthy, but changed for the better as his career evolved, becoming the man many of us came to respect greatly in 1968. His tenure as AG under his brother JFK, and his speech after Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, will be his greatest legacies.

I can be hard to live up to a legacy as a famous person's child, and sometimes the apple does fall far from the tree. Even still, RFK the Much Lesser is a colossal disappointment.

My God, no surprise that arsewipe TC still spews the same old shit (with a modern twist). The money will be paid out while the fox MAGAts continue to lie and blather nonsense in their attempt to make the money back. They haven’t even slowed down. Glad you made big bucks Dominion, but you pissed on the rest of us.

I'm sorry Jeri, but I am going to have to strongly disagree here with you and everyone else who thinks this is true. It's not. There was no way Dominion was ever going to get Fox to stand up and admit their guilt, make them take Hannity/Carlson and the others and have them admit their fucking around on their TV shows. That's because Fox has an even bigger lawsuit on the way, from Smartmatic in a few weeks. Fox is not going to "give away the store" for the next lawsuit, which demands even more money and with this decision on Diminion is now in an even-stronger position. It would never happen under any circumstances. Dominion did not harm us, and they gave us all kinds of evidence to wave in arguments elsewhere that we never had before - the emails.

Sadly for all of us, there is no magic bullet that is going to make the Right give up and get down on their knees and say "You're right, we've been wrong all along, we're terrible people and we deserve to lose." There are no easy ways to get what we want. Nothing of value - certainly not a constitutional democratic republic like we all want to strengthen and insure - ever comes easy; it would have no value if it did.

We got more ammo for the fight. It's up to us to make the fight. Nobody is going to save us. There are no White Knights, or blue or green or yellow for that matter, to champion the cause. There's only us. Take what we got and "praise the lord and pass the ammunition."

Cheers!
