They could not have gone back on their previous ruling - of course they could have, but thankfully they did not. Still...Thomas, Alieto, Barrett, Gorsuch - what a crowd. Now - how will Alabama try to get around this second ruling against them?

You kind of have to look at Wisconsin which is so badly gerrymandered that no matter how many thousands of votes democrats bring out, the seats in the legislature are still won by the gop. Of course that has happened throughout the south - and in NC although the dems managed to gain the governorship, the gerrymandered legislature has passed legislation curtailing everything the governor can do to protect elections! It does not take a brainiac to understand what the game is all about with this crowd.
I developed a theory about Texas when I was there in 1968. It's a magnifying glass: the awful people are Really Awful and the good people are Really Good. I have another theory about the Really Good in Texas: they're more really good than elsewhere because it's harder to do, to not slide down with the Really Awful.

Oh, they'll try. One thing about Southerners is the stupid ones are persistent with their stupidity.
From the South, boy, do I agree. My bros have hung on to their ignorance like itтАЩs treasure. They are not stupid, they are ignorant and committed.

IтАЩm from NC and have a niece in Wisconsin. Both states are embracing hatred as policy.
My goodness! We all have so much work to do to make the pro.ise of democracy real. Don't give up!
No chance. I have been vocal blue in red Texas for many years

The really awful took off when Rove foisted W on us. The really awful have metastasized like the most deadly tumor.
