If we put up a white board with red yarn and post-it notes this CBS procedural crime show would be over before the first HIMS commercial.

As usual, Judes, we're in complete agreement. A "disaster for the Republican party" is a good thing, in that the current iteration of that party needs to go the way of the Whigs and the Know Nothings. That said, we need to support the actual conservatives in building something not infected with fascism. The laws of aerodynamics apply to politics: the eagle cannot fly with just one wing. As much as I like living in California with a Democratic governing majority, there is some really stupid shit flying around that might not have gotten off the ground in that form had there been someone able to critique it effectively before launch.
