Republicans claimed Gal Luft, their missing whistleblower, would prove that President Joe Biden and his son Hunter received money from a Chinese energy company with ties to the Chinese government. But The House Republican source that was going to bring down Biden is an alleged Chinese spy. Luft has been indicted on eight counts in the U.S. Southern District of New York for charges he was made aware of last year.
Yep! Lies, more lies and damned lies. Be great if mainstream media would get their collective heads out of their butts and report some truth, but because I do still want to live, I won’t hold my breath.
On a more serious note, as I said elsewhere today, the R's picking a guy like this as a "witness" to *anything* says a lot more about them than it does about him.
Also, considering what JVL said about this sort of sounding like a movie (it does), I guess it would need to be of the docudrama genre rather than straight-up fiction. BECAUSE YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS SHIT UP!!

And they would claim Joe's agents kept buying him booze so as to damage his credibility and to keep him from being able to testify before the House Committee. Lord, these people are tiresome!

It takes about three seconds to open up a drive and, depending on the size, three-to-15 minutes to upload it. End of story.
This morning in his opening statements for today's "Weaponization Committee" hearing with FBI Director Christopher Wray, Jerry Nadler stated that the two "whistleblowers" who did show up for a previous hearing were paid $250,000 by Cash Patel. We've previously heard that they were paid by Patel but I hadn't heard the amount paid.
So, another Republican "whistleblower" proves to be tarnished.....who'da thunk it? I am reminded of what Casey Stengel said upon becoming the manager of the New York Mets in 1962, "Can't anyone here play this game.....?" But alas, the Republicans can't play the game of government because their caucuses have been trained over the years to be the opposition insanity, and governing is so HARD.
The thing that amuses me about Luft's "defense" is that he says he told the FBI all this about Biden and they ignored it. How exactly does he know that? Much more likely they looked into it and threw it in the junk bin.
Hooboy! it was a topic in the UK last week, where relatives watch CNN. They conclude that Trump is terrible, but he looks “solid,” while Biden looks frail. He’s old. (Well, 3 years older than Trump.) They aren’t aware of the accomplishments of Biden’s administration, not from CNN.
