This debate is a waste of time and oxygen. They’re both doing the right thing - dance around and avoid taking a hit.
I’ll continue.
The only good thing so far was Walz fact checking Vance on Trump and climate change. Walz is certainly packed with facts.
Walz keeps tossing everything Vance says back on Trump. That’s good.
Vnce saying don’t trust experts just undercut his kinda/sorta attempts to leave the impression he still believes in climate change. Walz was all over him about how government leaders need to consult experts.
I love it - Walz says “I misspoke.” Then corrects himself.
Walz nailed it on women’s health care and Vance sorta stands there.
Vance doing some serious dancing around abortion. Fred Astaire would be impressed.
Walz is winning this question on abortion hands down.
Walz - "We are pro-women, pro-family, pro-freedom. They are against women, against freedom, and women will die from their policies." Yes!!
As of the commercial break, it’s a draw. Exactly what both sides want it to be.
And we’re off.
Our guns are coming from Mexico? Are you fucking kidding?
You think we need more hardening of schools? How about reducing the number of sick fucks with guns? Oh, right “sick fuck with a gun” = a MAGAt.
What a load of shit on healthcare. I just want five minutes in a locked room with that little creep - me and my baseball bat.
Walz is landing solid points on this.
Outside the debate, MAGA is in meltdown that Vance got his mic cut off.
Vance actually tries to defend Jan. 6 big lie.
“I am focused on the future,” Vance said, when asked if Trump lost the 2020 election. It’s the clearest tell yet of the trade here: Vance obviously knows that Trump lost. He cannot say that publicly and remain in Trump’s good graces.
Overall, a draw. Good news. What do all of you think of it?

Does J. D. stand for Justa Dick??
I was surprised to learn that everything wrong with the country was due to "Kamala Harris's policies." I could have sworn Congress had something to do with it. If a VP has the power Vance attributes to the office, no WONDER he has changed his mind about trump in order to get into the position.
