My last kitty was an older feral who in her last year of life finally came into our house and when she passed away I hope she knew how much she was loved. That was 8 yrs ago, and now the tortie kitten we adopted from the local shelter is considered a "senior" and is visibly slowing down. I dread the inevitable but hope for at least 4-5 more years.
