"Stormed out of the courtroom." Such an adult. This reminds me of when my

son, at age 6 was told to clean up his room before he

could go out to play.🙄

So, it's 2 strikes in Engoron's

Court. 3 strikes = an overnight stay at their lovely jail. Keep running your mouth

Trump.

WARNING! For those that try to bait me here and on other

So instead of storming out, he should have just pointed and laughed?

Sweet. I hope Judge Engoron plans to increase the fines substantially for each subsequent offense. The next fine should be $100,000, and the one after that should be $1,000,000.

Trump is also demonstrating that he is dumb as a rock. Why would he think that he could say, directly to the judge who imposed the gag order prohibiting him from commenting on the court staff, that he thinks the court clerk is “maybe unfair, and I think she’s very biased against me.” ?

You can't fix stupid.

An egomaniac but also quite demented. A compulsive liar but also racist, sexist. Spoiled little rich boy bully. Liar. Cheater. And it seems hero to republicants and “conservative Christians” everywhere. Rocks are smarter. I beg to differ. He’s not stupid. His followers, worshippers and cult are the stupid ones. May all in the House be defeated next year.

Exactly. Re the House, I’ll do what most everybody here is also doing-keep putting my small dollars and postcard/letter writing time toward replacing vulnerable Republicans, especially the deeply stupid (Boebert, Santos, et al) with Democrats, with a goal of regaining the House majority and expanding the Dem Senate majority, and of course, reelecting Joe Biden, who--though he may be gray and low on charisma--is doing a kick-ass job.

Punitive actions that cause no pain are symbolism. Nothing to see here until Progressive Discipline moves away from fines into incarceration time

The orange sadist said re the clerk, Allison Greenfield, [that] he thought she was “maybe unfair, and I think she’s very biased against me.” WHAT A FOOL!!! Was that worth $10,000 Mr.-Self-Proclaimed-Money-Bags?" LOL!

Boviating come with a cost. Should be a Gas Order in this case.

I'm pretty sure he's already full of that.

Trump is going to get so slammed in that court. Truth be told, clerks have a lot of influence on their judges, strangely enough. As a young trial lawyer, sitting in the “second chair” (that is, assisting the trial lawyer who’s doing all the talking), one of the first things you pick up on is to always be obsequiously nice to the clerk, obsequious to the point of fawning, even if the clerk clearly hates your client. (And clerks form opinions pretty fast and their body language communicates it--they make no pretense of reserving judgment.) Be nice to the clerk no matter what because she (inevitably a she) will chat with the judge about the case during recess. Plus, judges are very protective and paternalistic toward their clerks. Trump’s lawyers must be absolutely livid with him. Trump’s antics are just digging a deeper hole for him. From a lawyer’s perspective this is all funny as hell. And the judge commenting he doesn’t want to see someone killed? OMG. Serious stuff. That judge is majorly pissed.

Chump will never change or be corralled. Just gag the bastard forever.

I hope the Dems have learned a long-needed lesson. NEVER trust repubs to do the right thing. Beat them or be kneecapped on every issue. They will never cooperate. Just wait for Johnson to prove it.

It certainly would be 10,000 X what the orange sadist ever donated to charity in his lifetime.

Actually, yes!!!

Nah, he just makes others feel horrible. It’s been many, many years since he had anything resembling normal feelings. He likely has no memory of such and thinks others don’t either

At least New York got $10 grand for this contribution to Trump’s re-election. Usually it’s just “in kind”.

I would love to see a list of what fines he’s actually paid.

And compare that to major network ad time $ for the coverage this gets him.

Christopher Kise is someone I'd call a clown if we hadn't already determined that we don't want to insult the clown community (a community I assume is Left-leaning...just a hunch). he's actually getting PAID for his "expertise." wow.

The judge is no idiot, as Trump is discovering.

Trump will get airtime but I think more people are being dismayed by what they see than are getting turned on by it.

I would suggest that while that’s true in the progressive / media bubble, more people in the real world are shaking their heads and wondering what this is really all about. The more Trump gets it in the headlines the more they see.

Which means we have to get ourselves out of the bubble and talk to them about what it's really all about. Not an easy task...

Or let this one drop. If you’re trying to make a crime out of lying on loan applications where everyone does their own due diligence, no one relies on what you say, and where there’s NO VICTIM, no one lost any money, and no one even complained, you’re about 100 years too late.
