TRUMP FALLS ASLEEP IN COURT

So much for “Sleepy Joe,” “Sleepy Don” fell asleep several times today in the midst of his criminal trial in New York for paying off Stormy Daniels as part of his election prevarications back in 2016.

According to Maggie Haberman, “He appeared to be asleep and repeatedly, his head would fall down. There have been other moments in other trials, like the E. Jean Carroll trial, which was around the corner in January, where he appeared very still, and it seemed as if he might be sleeping, but then he would move this time. He didn’t pay attention to a note that his lawyer Todd Blanche passed to him. His jaw kept falling on his chest, and his mouth kept going slack. Now, you know, sometimes people do fall asleep during court proceedings, but it’s notable given the intensity of this morning.”

Joyce Vance tweeted, “Multiple reports from inside of the courtroom that Trump was nodding off this morning. If he can’t keep his eyes open when his own liberty is at stake, why would Americans have confidence he’s capable of focus when our country’s interests require sound presidential leadership?”

At one point during a campaign stop in Pennsylvania this past weekend, Trump spoke something that wasn’t words as his mind trailed off. He said, “Just last week it was reported that an illegal adlinthin– and you just look at thisss, what’s happening” Trump also called a magazine a magastine, but at least that was sort of close to a word. His campaign is trying to limit him to reading the teleprompter to hide his serious decline, but keeping Trump under control is impossible.

Additionally, the dumbassed moron has again managed to get himself in trouble with the gag order, calling both Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen “sleazeballs” when he “truthed” about the trial this morning, demonstrating his complete lack of personal control. The prosecutors are seeking to have Trump held in contempt for violating the gag order by attacking witnesses Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen, and a hearing has been set for next Tuesday to determine what punishement he will get for this.

The key for Judge Merchan is how he can punish Trump without giving him what he wants, more ammo to claim that the trial is a political exercise? In the civil fraud trial what worked was hitting Trump in the wallet. If the Judge in the criminal case starts imposing big fines on Trump, recent history has shown that he will shut up fast.

Day One and Trump is already creating a mega-disaster for himself.
