TRUMP AND VANCE HAVE SWATTED SPRINGFIELD OHIO - UPDATED

They have prank-called the nation. Trump and Vance and the House GOP Judiciary caucus and the rest of the Republican Party are spreading a lie about Springfield. They’ve been told it’s lie. Erika Lee, the woman who started the lie has said it’s a lie and has apologized.

And yet the scumbags are still spreading it.

Trump is now threatening to go to Springfield, Ohio, and hold one of his hatealongs there.

The Haitian nationals present in Springfield all have legal residency status under Temporary Protected Status TPS, which provides them with temporary permission to live and work in the country legally. The Department of Homeland Security designates certain countries for TPS when it deems it too dangerous for migrants to return due civil unrest, natural disasters, or other reasons.

Despite this, Trump vowed on Friday that if he was returned to office, he would oversee the "largest deportation in the history of our country," starting in Springfield. He called the LEGAL RESIDENTS in Springfield “illegals” and said they would be sent “back to Venezuela.” Obviously the World’s Most Ignorant Moron thinks Haiti is a city in Venezuela. I wonder if this fuckwit could find New York City on a map, let alone anywhere else. He’s so fucking stupid, he has to be one of the 30% of Republicans who (according to a study last year) think the Earth is flat.

Trump continued to spread the slander on Saturday in Las Vegas, claiming “Our country is under attack” and declaring - again, despite having been fact checked on this during Tuesday’s debate - that “many people on television” had reported that Haitians were stealing pets and eating them.

He no longer cares what happens from the lies and bullshit he spews. When a reporter asked him: “Do you denounce the bomb threats in Springfield, Ohio?” Trump replied, “I don’t know what happened with the bomb threats. I know that it’s been taken over by illegal migrants, and that’s a terrible thing that happened.”

At the same time, Juvenile Delinquent Vance - who is a greater stain on the reputation of the Marines than Charles Whitman, the Texas Tower sniper (and likely soon to be responsible for more deathsthan Whitman) - wrote on Xitter (that’s pronounced “Shitter”): "In the last several weeks, my office has received many inquiries from actual residents of Springfield who've said their neighbors' pets or local wildlife were abducted by Haitian migrants. It's possible, of course, that all of these rumors will turn out to be false."

He also posted on Friday that there has been “a massive rise in communicable diseases, rent prices, car insurance rates, and crime” in Springfield, adding, “Don’t let biased media shame you into not discussing this slow-moving humanitarian crisis in a small town in Ohio.”

The hate crimes continued in Springield over the weekend. On Saturday, in addition to bomb threats against the city administration buildings that again forced a shut down and evacuation, two Springfield hospitals were placed under lockdown Saturday morning because of phoned-in bomb threats. At 6:50 a.m., security personnel at Kettering Health Springfield were notified of a bomb threat locked down the facility. The hospital team and the city bomb squad then searched the premises but found nothing.

Eighteen Proud Boys showed up in Springfield Saturday afternoon and tried to hold a “rally” in a shopping center parking lot. That might have been a failure, but it won’t be the last. The KKK is passing out flyers in the city demanding “mass deportation” and complaining about “forced immigration,” whateverinhell that is.

Ted Cruz, of course, couldn’t say no to an opportunity to further prove what a waste of DNA he is (It’sreally too bad his college roommates didn’t throw him out that third floor dorm window back in freshman year):

This morning, Trump posted on his Truth (anti) Social: "As President I will immediately end the migrant invasion of America. We will stop all migrant flights, end all illegal entries, terminate the Kamala phone app for smuggling illegals (CBP One App), revoke deportation immunity, suspend refugee resettlement, and return Kamala's illegal migrants to their home countries (also known as remigration). I will save our cities and towns in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and all across America. MAGA2024!”

This morning on CNN, JD Vance claimed “There are 911 calls from well before this ever became a viral sensation about people complaining about that exact thing happening.”

Dana Bash redeemed herself from the failed debate she “moderated,” when she fact-checked JD Vance on air: “Senator, I have to go through several things that you just said. First of all, the Clark County Sheriff and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources reviewed eleven months of 911 calls. They only identified two instances of people alleging Haitians were taking geese out of parks. They found ZERO evidence to substantiate those claims. Also, other evidence that you have talked about — even retweeted — alleged evidence, are unsourced social media videos from a different city, apparently no connection to Haitians.”

Vance reacted by telling Bash that her fact-checking was “...disgusting.” He went on to say, “If I have to create stories so the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that is what I’m going to do.”

When he was fact-checked earlier by Kristin Welker on Meet The Press, Vance said, “I hear you saying they’re baseless, but I’m not repeating them because I invented them out of thin air. I’m repeating them because my constituents are saying these things are happening. Clearly these rumors are out there because constiuents are seeing them with their own eyes. I trust my constiuents more than I do the American media that has shown no interest about what’s happening in Springfield until we started sharing cat memes on the internet.”

Any Vance “constituent” who is “seeing” any of this is probably one of those ignorant bimbo whackjobs who go on Nextdoor and constantly post about “dangerous (i.e., non-white) people in the neighborhood,” the kind of ignorant scum who prove that using Nextdoor is the best way to learn that you want nothing to do with the morons who live next door to you.

What is going on with Trump and Vance - and the failure of any Republican to call this despicable behavior what it is, hate crimes - is proof of the complete moral collapse of the party and the reveal that it is now a fully-fascist movement.

Trump’s repeated lying about Springfield is responsible for the upheaval there. The fact that corporate media will not call him out for these lies and their results at a “Hillary’s emails” level is this week’s major failure by the Sulzberger Sniper and the rest of them.

The Nation’s Finest Fishwrap managed to say this about the Springfield hate crimes on Saturday: “There is something particularly insidious about his claim that Haitian immigrants are eating household pets.”

This attack on legal immigrants in Springfield is Step One of the MAGA plan to “normalize” that immigrants are inherently criminal, to prepare the public for the mass deportations Trump and his fellow scumbags plan to institute if he wins in November.

What’s fueling all this insanity? Perhaps this report published this morning in the Des Moines Register provides a clue:

Freaking IOWA is “in play”!

Perhaps the headline for this post should be more accurately “Terrified Old Man Who Fears Going To Prison If He Loses In November Is Reduced To Spouting Total Horse Shit In Campaign.”

Trump knows he’s losing. That’s why he made these posts on Truth Antisocial this morning:

The problem is, there are 74 million morons in this country who were ignorant and stupid enough to vote for this disgrace to the species back in 2020. What he’s doing now out of his fear is triggering the “swatting” of Springfield, to the point the LEGAL IMMIGRANTS in that town are now afraid to leave their homes or send their children to school. He managed to bring out the fools and ignorant morons in force on January 6, 2021.

A poll cited by Aaron Blake at the Washington Post reveals that 22% of Trump voters believe the lies about Haitians in Springfield are “definitely true,” while 30% believe they are “probably true.” 81% of Harris voters believe the lies are “definitely false,” while only 5% of Trump voters believe they are definitely false; 20% ofTrump voters believe they are “probably false.”

As Charlie Sykesput it, “Here’s the nagging (and important) question: Do Trump supporters believe the fake stories because (1) they actually think they are true, (2) they just really want to believe the stories, or (3) they don’t care whether the stories are true, because… TRUMP!”
