Same here Tom! As Jen Rubin says, and others as well, the goal now is to have such a HUGE turnout everywhere, every state, that the attempt to overthrow the voters will look like the criminal act committed after the 2020 election. 90 days ....lots of work to do!
Thank you, Tom. That is a wonderful thing to do for cats and cat lovers. At one point in the 2000's 10 cats shared my home with me - or I shared with them.
I knew Walz was a good man. A kind and gentle spirit who cares about animals. Over the last 5 years I rescued 25 feral and abandoned kitties. Got them all fixed and vaccinated and was able to tame and adopt out 10 of them. The remaining 15 are tame now, share my home and are family. Sorry Tom, I know you’ve heard my cat story before but just had to repeat it in honor of our next Vice President. Thinking positive!
Congratulations Karen, I'm so grateful for you and people like Tom., who give srays and foundlings another chance at live a decent cat life.
Once a cat has chosen to live with me, unfortunately it is a lifetime commitment - they never leave until they die, for several years ten delightful cats shared their home with me.
I also like dogs, horses, and goats and always ended up with too many of anything (:-) Now, only Calliope (Callie) shares her life with me, she will be ten in March and has trained me to be her adoring slave.
You and I are kindred spirits Fay. I have also had chickens, cows and dogs that I have taken in and lived out their life with me. My chickens were good layers then as time went by they would lay one egg a month then nothing. I was ridiculed for not selling them for meat. My girls had names and they were family so I pretty much told all of the people to fuck off and they lived out their lives in peace at our home.
We certainly are kindred spirits, Karen. My two daughters and I were heavily involved with 4H. My youngest had poultry and goats, the older of the two had rabbits and goats. Meat animals were never given names after our first year on the farm any animal that was named was given a pass for life and became friends of ours, including chickens, turkeys and peacocks.
Tom, my Delilah and her sister, Callie, were feral infants when they came to my house. It was nip and tuck for a while there, but we made it work. Callie crossed the bridge a year ago. Delilah will be my ride or die until her time comes.
“UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (The Borowitz Report)—In an extraordinary show of support from the furry mammals, on Wednesday America’s cats gave a full-throated endorsement to Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota.
“The felines, who have been unusually active this election cycle, said they were supporting Walz because “this November, cats are on the ballot.”
“Unlike some candidates, who have used language that belittles and ridicules us, Gov. Walz makes us feel seen,” the cats’ official statement read.
Praising the vice-presidential candidate’s upbeat demeanor, the cats stated, “Tim Walz is like a ray of sunshine we would bask in for hours without moving.”
Aww, she looks like my Katy that I had to have put to sleep last Sept. I love this guy, and all cat dads. The other JD thought it was just cat ladies he had to worry about. Haha
Over forty some years we've had rescue cats and dogs. Our last cat suddenly died in my arms December 31, 2019. We still miss her. But now we have a sweet rescue dog, Beau. I don't trust anyone who doesn't love animals. Btw, I had a good laugh this morning after Trump released a statement about Tim calling him some crazed radical liberal. We were looking at a photo of Tim holding a sweet black lab, and I remarked, "oh yeah. This guy is radical".
I had Oreo, a tuxedo feral, from first look at about 2 weeks. I won’t bore you with the rest, and Tom please delete if not allowed , but https://www.forgottenfelinesofthefloridakeys.com/ could use some help. All our cats are onetime feral or abandoned kitties, and I see Walz has a dog, too…all right! Definitely not weird, unlike TFG and boy blunder vance.
Three rescue kitties share my home with me. Lots more from years prior.
All the Fabulous Jamieson Avenue Felines are ferals rescued and domesticated by yours truly.

15 ?!? I don't think Tom has ever disclosed how many he has ! I heard there was a cat/dog lovers fundraising zoom call in the works. My kind of tribe.
Karen has more than me. :-)

Yep. That does it for me, too! :-)
Boom.
Advertising gold, no wait - check that -advertising Honey!
Tim Walz and his rescue cat Honey are the purrfect antidote to JD Vance.
Aww, she looks like my Katy that I had to have put to sleep last Sept. I love this guy, and all cat dads. The other JD thought it was just cat ladies he had to worry about. Haha

Ironic that the 'crazy cat 'man' 'is going to be the next Veep! Vance is going to regret he ever uttered those words abiut cat lovers!!
Seals the deal for me too! Thanks for posting this, TC.
She looks a lot like my Calliope, whom I got from Happy Tails a local rescue association. Callie runs my apartment quite expertly.

This is much allowed. Go help these people.
I love the kitties, but I'm all in with Tim and the piglet.
Yes, that too.
That does it for me too. Thanks for posting the photos 😊😻
