Wonder who the mole is? trump must be hurling ketchup and god knows what else onto the walls of Mar A Lardbutt and frothing at the mouth figuring out who that is. Knowledge that precise of where the evidence was stored means someone within trump’s innermost circle is the source…trying to save their ass in a deal?
This is a flashpoint. Yikes! The Republicans made lies (the evidence was planted) and accusations (the DOJ and FBI have been “politicized”) and damned lies “It’s a witch hunt by terrible people” FORCING a response that they will NEVER accept but will only twist to foment the beast that is their rabid, hateful base. Stay safe and out of their way … if lawmakers need extra protection, it should be given to them. Remember, the J6 committee is still working … still collecting evidence… they are surely feeling the wheels of justice grinding. Of course they’re going to scream unfair. Hypocrites don’t recognize irony.
The idea that this search (not a raid) could be performed in a manner or at a time that wouldn't provide a "backfire" - is just silly fantasy. The outrage of the radical gang surrounding TFG is completely predictable. Name one way that the boxes could have been retrieved without MJT screaming in response "Defund the FBI!" We worry too much about what people will "think" when we do the right thing. The wingnuts don't!
