From your keyboard to God’s eyes. It strains credulity to think that even someone as dumb as tRump would think government documents were his personal property, but to him everything is mine. It’s all about me, a case of arrested development if there ever was one. He needs to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. I think he would be surprised how few people would protest if he were indicted. He needs to pay for all the grief he has put this country through on his crime spree, aided and abetted by his sorry Republican enablers. Investigate and indict them too, not because they are Republicans, but because they are criminals.

The three justices write: “For our part, we cannot discern why Plaintiff would have an individual interest in or need for any of the one-hundred documents with classification markings.” Their duty is to write lawyerly and judiciously. The rest of us can so easily discern why Plaintiff would have an interest or need for all those classified docs. Delicious! Super job TC.

Also noteworthy is the speed of both the Dearie hearing the 11th Circuit ruling. Trump’s strategy of absurd arguments followed by an endless series of appeals seems to have annoyed the courts. Their reply: lightning swift rulings. The terrible swift sword has left the Trump arguments in shards and spiked Cannon to boot.

I think about one of my fave Nash nosh notes every day….

“The door of a bigoted mind opens outwards so that the only result of the pressure of facts upon it is to close it more snugly.”

Ogden Nash

Facts are on our side.

I am gobsmacked! I was certain this majority Trumpist circuit court would pull for Trump. Will wonders never cease?

Isn't it nice when people live up to your hopes instead of down to your expectations?

It is interesting to note that many of the 60 lawsuits Trump's crony lawyers lost during the 2020 election were decided by Trump-appointed judges. Not all of them are as incompetent as the one down in Florida.....

One can only hope that this has been a bridge too far.

It was a very good day today indeed, every time I turned on my TV I heard something that made me smile, the rock 🪨 has started to move and the blockade that has been holding back the wheels of Justice is starting to abate, that scuttling sounds that you might hear are scumbags that have been sucking up to him, looking for cover after coming to the realization that there is going to be a reckoning after all, and that they are a long way from the right side of the law, so there’s a frantic search for their rock 🪨 . I have been wondering what rocks they have crawled out from under, time will tell, be careful you don’t step on one, it’ll be like stepping on a cockroach 🪳.

Yesterday was a good day for America. The fraudman has been exposed. I hope today is even better! And I hope Loose Cannon gets what she deserves.

I think the new lawsuit by NY Attorney General Letitia James may be the end of Trump's political influence..... When it becomes well-known that Trump's great wealth and "business savvy" were all illusions and not real, many of his followers will abandon him, and he'll become another aging felon few people remember in five years.....if he lives that long.

Tom, I just saw this Youtube video with Alex Wagner on MSNBC - the upcoming prosecution of Trump and his inner circle will almost have to be a RICO prosecution. Check out the graphic Jim Walden put up - the breadth of the crimes and the people involved is astounding.....proof that the entire Trump Organization and Trump's administration were criminal enterprises.....

I saw that. For me personally, it would be more satisfying to see him found guilty on this case, but I'll take whichever jury in whatever case does the job.

For me the big advantage of a RICO case is that the gubmint may be able to go after all that Trump has acquired, putting an end to the Trump Organization and its holdings. And the range of charges is so eclectic and broad I don't see how he could escape all of them. Like the former US attorney, I think the RICO case will be the stronger one for Garland to run as the flagship.....
