Well, TC, You have explained the dynamics of the Texas law which I so did not figure out myself. Thank you. Sounds dangerous and destructive in so many ways. At some point those feeble minded justices will face the legal challenges which they have precipitated. And they will not be guided by judicial rulings, so whatever one judge rules in a case depends on that single judge because he/she makes the rules as they go. I am without words to describe how I feel. Crushed. Can only imagine what university law professors are telling law students, and what guides them in their rambling cogitations. What would it take to correct this path forward?

For this battle women need to be joined by enlightened men because the society this terrible legislation creates is one in which no caring human being, male, female, LBGTQ+, would want to live.

IMHO, Roberts is concerned about his legacy, as this is "The Roberts Court' and he values legal process. Clearly, the court is beyond his influence, never mind control. These Injustices may well rue this travesty as the story unfolds.
I give up. I subscribed monthly (I think). I feel like I cheat when I get something for nothing. America will split into several parts or the Red States will declare war on the seceding Blue states to maintain the Union and the flow of money to the Red States.
