I would love to be able to ghost every one of these folks when they are standing in front of the bathroom mirror in the mornings and whisper something like "Remember the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come from Dickens...this shall be your fate if you don't start telling the truth." Every day, until they go mad, or wake up. Watching all this from the outside is a study in the corruption of power and greed that occurs all too frequently in those hallowed halls, which appear to be losing the "hallowed" designation more rapidly every year. (Or perhaps that is because as I grow older, I pay more attention to what is going on there.) Be all this as it may, I appreciate your summation, and your research, and just your sheer pluck.
