Comparing the Insurrection Defense Committee to a zoo is an affront to zoos. Most zoos are well organized, well run facilities operated by trained personnel using best practices to care for animals in their charge. Most keepers involved in daily care truly love the animals. The performative extremists do not rise to the level of the scientific communities known as zoos. The performative crazies have no love of country; they are a looting, destructive mob.
'Animals suffer in zoos. They get depressed, psychologically disturbed, frustrated, they harm each other, become ill, go hungry, and are forced to endure extreme and unnatural temperatures. These animals cannot live as they would wish to live. In zoos, animals such as dolphins and sea lions are ridiculed in demeaning and embarrassing performances, animals can get extremely stressed by screaming visitors. They are subjected to camera flashes and the hordes of hundreds of people who spend each day in front of their cages to watch but learn nothing. If you care about animals do not go to the zoo. Educate your children with true respect for animals.'(animalequlity) see link below
Actually, Jenn - this bunch BELONGS in a zoo - how about letting the other species go back to where they should be - living their lives free. I think that "capturing" this crew of insurrectionists - putting them where THEY belong - is a really good idea.

My intent was not to start an argument about zoos. Just that zoos are not as chaotic as the extreme people in the House.
Actually, Jenn - this bunch BELONGS in a zoo - how about letting the other species go back to where they should be - living their lives free. I think that "capturing" this crew of insurrectionists - putting them where THEY belong - is a really good idea.
We could compromise. Put the “Insurrection Defense Committee” in the Zoo.
My kind of human! Thank you.
Each with their intent. I was thinking of the animals.
It is time for a plague to eliminate all humans and let animals take over and save the planet we have destroyed. I am serious.
With that smile, Marine, I won't risk doubting you.
Point taken
A metaphor, not apt for a zoo protector or two. No apologies on my part.
