Thanks Tom for dealing with the mess we've all been forced to deal with because too many fell for the con, were afraid to vote for a mixed race woman, or belonged to the 90 million eligible voters who did not bother to cast a ballot. Despite the daily firehose beating us we are still standing and not giving in or giving up. I found myself thinking about all the people lining up to register to vote in Alabama and the firehoses attempting to put the burning souls yearning to be able to vote, to be considered a citizen. And firehoses were not the worst. Getting this crowd OUT is only one goal. Keeping the fascists out will require a solidarity we must build as part of the long range goal of renewing this democracy. Learning. Reading. Analyzing. Paying attention. Sharing what we know with each other. Your writing helps all of us Tom. Those who read your words understand there is no going back to what was, there is only going forward to the better and more democratic political AND economic system. And there is NO WAY any of the millions of us will go forward just to roll over for this crowd of criminals, putin's boys and girls, fascists and fascism! PS: Love Karen's photos. Good to see the finally emerging pushback from the states, even though it intensifies our national divisions. We are required to disobey unlawful orders. Don't worry about this GOP congress changing laws; they can't give up swaying to the group grovel. Those with any self-respect left, like Don Bacon, are jumping ship.
Bless the Demgovs for uniting to obtain vaccines for all the folks who live in the work place where they are exposed to many people. Apparently, JFKjr doesn't mind wiping out the most productive workforce since WWII. Perhaps he will be among the first to go, as the Covid season is upon us.
I am stunned by Ice Barbie's absolute lies about conditions in LA!! Given the media focus on "if it bleed, if leads", you'd expect there to be non-stop coverage of the complete destruction of (at least) downtown LA with full color photos and video as reporters roam through the ruins. Rhetorical question: How on earth can she begin to believe the stupidities coming from her mouth?
So when they arrive in Chicago, will they all be given a bottle of Windex and a rag to polish the Bean?
