REPUBLICANS STRIKE OUT THREE TIMES IN ONE DAY

The Gang That Not Only Cannot Shoot Straight But Doesn’t Know If The Gun Is Loaded Or Not has failed in embarrassing fashion Tuesday, as three Republicans joined Democrats in voting against what would have been the second-ever impeachment of a Cabinet official, in an embarrassing vote of 214 in favor to 216 opposed to bring a bill of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

These dimbulbs can’t even accomplish the thing they swore they would do when they first fell out of the trees and into power in the House a year ago. On the anniversary of their first inability to either vote for or deny a candidate for Speaker of the House, they failed to keep three conservative members of their caucus aboard to accomplish their Moscow Show Trials “Impeachment.”

This was the HIGHEST PRIORTY for MAGA Mike, the Southern-fried Christian nationalist fundamentalist moron installed as their most recent loser in the office of Speaker of the House, who once again demonstrates his incompetence to hold the office due to his inability to do simple arithmetic in counting votes.

The public setback on the House floor underscores the deep divisions within the House Republican conference, exacerbated by their thin majority. With Scalise missing, Republicans could only afford to lose two votes.

The high-profile public defeat came hours after MAGA Mike predicted to reporters his belief the Kollection of Krazy Kooks would have the votes, even as he faced growing skepticism from within his own ranks when Ken Buck and Tom McClintock publicly refused to sign on to supporting the vote. Buck made his opposition official late last week, while McClintock came out as a “no” on Tuesday morning. The failure was inevitable when Representative Al Green made a surprise appearance in the chamber, showing up unexpectedly to vote against the bill.

Then a third House GOP lawmaker, Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), also voted against impeachment.

Blake Moore, vice chair of the Republican Conference in the House, then flipped his vote to “no” in a procedural step that allows Republicans revive the impeachment articles.

Head moron Marjorie Traitor Goon (who really should go back to giving blowjobs to Jaw-juh gymrats, since she has failed at every stupid move she has pushed since arriving in Congress, not to mention no one would need to look at that potato face) said of McClintock, “Clearly he’s not paying attention to the American people. He’s failing his oath office. I would say he needs to grow some courage. The American people are fed up.” The Goon had been pushing to impeach a Biden official, even as the party couldn’t decide which one to focus on.

Republicans quickly predicted they will bring it back up once Majority Leader Steve Scalise, who is undergoing treatment for blood cancer, returns.

Even several conservative constitutional experts have publicly warned that House Republicans’ accusations don’t meet the bar for impeachment, that they are trying to turn an argument over policy decisions into a “high crime and misdemeanor.”

This failure also raises fresh questions about whether Republicans can take on their bigger impeachment goal: President Joe Biden. There were multiple signs of trouble heading into the Mayorkas vote that could be relevant for any effort against Biden as well. Buck has also been critical of the effort to impeach Biden.

Topping things off for MAGA Mike, his stand-alone $17.6 billion Israel aid bill - which everyone knew would be instantly vetoed by the president should it by some miracle have survived long enough in the Senate to get a successful vote - failed in a vote of 250-180 under an expedited procedure requiring two-thirds support. 47 Democrats voted “yes” while more than a dozen Republicans opposed the measure. In a statement following the vote, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer reiterated his position that aid for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan should move alongside border security changes.

The question is now whether the Senate will go back to a standalone Ukraine-Israel-Taiwan aid package. The White House originally requested that package last fall, along with border funding, before Republicans demanded significant border policy changes be added to the deal in exchange for Ukraine aid. McConnell on Tuesday said Democratic leadership should "repackage" those foreign assistance provisions. Schumer would not say whether he’d go back to a bill focusing on just Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan aid.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said to Republicans, “You’ve brought articles of impeachment that are not anchored in reality. You brought articles of impeachment for one simple reason: because you really want to impeach Joe Biden. That’s what you were directed to do by the puppet master, the former president of the United States, Donald Trump. You really want to impeach Joe Biden, but you realize that that is politically unpopular.”

These two defeats come following the D.C. Appeals Court’s unanimous decision released this morning that Trump does not hold immunity from prosecution for attempting to overthrow the 2020 election result by virtue of having been president.
