Good one Fern. Some of those authors had a direct influence upon the development of my brain. Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 which I borrowed from the high school library was my first experience of reading science fiction. Kurt Vonnegut Jr's Slaughterhouse Five taught young me that war is not back and white or simply good vs evil, countering the fabricated tales of guts and glory so prevalent at the time.
