It does indeed. To me the hardest thing is that, unlike Alzheimers where eventually they're not "here," with Parkinson's they know what is happening to them.

That is the hardest thing TC. My 93 year old Mom has Alzheimer’s. The most difficult time was when she was still with it enough to know she was losing her memory and cognitively declining. She cried a lot and was very depressed. Now for the most part she doesn’t know that she can’t remember anything and she rolls along so far in pleasant confusion. But to have your mind intact in a body that doesn’t work is so difficult. You are a wonderful and caring person. Please take care
