How it will be assessed is again McCarthy’s goal by announcing “Trump’s picks” quickly in a partisan way, just waiting for Pelosi to strike down his choices so deflection can occur and Pelosi can be lambasted and the committee can be mocked by every mouth of the right. I mean,really? When has one ever considered that a witness deposed is also going to be on the jury?
I said back after the first CPAC conference in February that Trump lavished public praise on his wrestler Jordan, not his paper bookmark in Florida, Desantis. The goal is to discredit the mere idea of a Pelosi committee before it launches.
Allow me to add as a PostScript…..Speaker Pelosi did reject Bankrupt and The Wrestler as announced today. It was then reported that she gave no reason (since obv her decision is reason enough) and also that she had McCarthy for lunch yesterday in addition to breakfast and supper.
