This is a telephone poll of 1265 people, less than a third Repub and less than a third Democrat. Over a third called themselves independent. Let’s say that is about 400 of each party. When I am told it’s a poll of Americans or registered voters, my mind first imagines millions of people and I feel discouraged. But 400 people, maybe half of them Russian spies using different phone numbers is really not significant when considering all the ways the fat taco thumb is on the scales. Please give us the total sampling that puts things in perspective!
When events seemed to be escalating in California this week I initially thought it was a distraction from the disasters of the previous week. But the polling numbers that came out this week now have me wondering if the Admin. is sprinting to the finish line with state takeovers in order to sew up power before the hoi polloi get more disaffected.
Everybody have a peaceful weekend by raising your voice and demonstrating peacefully at the many large and small NO KINGS demonstrations on Saturday around the country. Try to stay out of the fray if there is one by sitting down, playing dead, whatever.
